Peggy's Favourite Cakes & Cookies

This book has got so many great cakes in there you just want to make them all. Found the instructions easy to follow, really like the basics section at the back of the book, where Peggy breaks things down with pictures and detailed instrcutions for example on how to layer or ice a cake. Made a couple of the cakes so far (the decorations on the Valentines Heart cake in particular are easier then they look, and make even a simple square cake look great) and looking forward to making more in the future.

I'm captivate for Peggy. Very useful book, many photos and perfectly recipes! A lot of ideas for decorating. I loved to have this book in my hands! The delivery was perfect! and very rapid.

This book is so inspiring, as soon as I opened it I wanted to make it all! I don't have a lot of baking experience but this has made me look like an expert!! I purchased this as wanted a book that covered the basics like what tools are needed, recipes for the basics, a decent explanation of technical terms but gave some fancy results. This book has it all without assuming you need to start slow it also has some more technical tips too if you want to push yourself a bit. The cakes and cookies featured are amazing...true show stoppers and even though my results were not 100% perfect (like i said i haven't much baking experience!) they were still pretty impressive. It takes some time to work through the recipes...they are not a fast fix...but if you plan to invest a bit of time it will let you bake to impress.

Amazing ideas for ecorations and cupcake. I wish I was able to do the same things, good though to have a book for inspiration. Pics are amazing!

I would recommend this book fully, it is fantastic and filled with clear instructions and helpful hints and tips. If you want to buy a Peggy Porschen book then this is the one, as it contains the same contents as the "Pretty Party Cakes" book and a lot more too.

I think the product description should make much clearer that this is a rehash of her previous books and doesn't contain any new material at all.If you're completely new to Peggy Porschen's work then this would be a great book, the cake and cookie designs are lovely, the projects clearly explained and the photography is excellent. However, if you're already familiar with Peggy's cakes or you've read any of her previous books then you'd be wasting your money on this. It's a straight forward cut and paste job with selected projects from previous books compiled to make a new one. Bit lazy I feel.....

Great book, great price from the used section. Looks almost new. Overall the recipes are worth it, good decorating advice and all the bakes look eloquent.

No doubt this is book full of beautiful pictures ,but the writer peggy she doesnot really tell you everything about each cake how to decorate. the most important techiques she doesnot maintain it at all. i think everyone paid for her skills of how to decorating the cake,not just pictures and few words .

Libro totalmente imprescindible del que aprendes una cantidad de cosas y es fuente inagotable de inspiración. Recomiendo su compra realmente

Livre super beaucoup d'idée pour les amoureux de patisserie même si le livre est en anglais il est tout à fait compréhensible j'aime tout les livres de l'auteur mais j'avoue que celui si est mon préférer c'est un bon achat

Ich habe lange nach einem ansprechenden Titel zum Thema gesucht. Dieses Buch ist Passion pur! Wer die anderen Bücher der Autorin kennt, wird viele Torten wiedererkennen, aber für mich als Erstleser dieser Tortenqueen ist das Buch einfach spitze! Ansprechende farbenfrohe Fotographie, detaillierte Erklärungen zu den einzelnen Schritten... kurz: Alles dabei, was das Herz begehrt. Wer des Englischen mächtig ist und Peggy Porschens Kreationen liebt, dem kann ich das Buch nur empfehlen!
