The box seemed to have been opened, it just arrived this afternoon and it hasn't worked for me, it hasn't even turned on, don't waste your money

I have mixed feelings on this camera. While it does some things very well, In my opinion, it is not what I would call a security camera.The plusses.- It is amazing the functionality that is in this very small, neatly built unit.- The WIFI worked great - much longer range than the "26 inches" claimed in the description ;-)- I mostly use the "full HD" scale, but there is a 4K option and a lower resolution option that both seem to work. The videos are quite clear if the lighting is good.- You can record to either a micro-SD card, or to a reasonably priced cloud service. You are repeatedly reminded to set up the cloud service, (but do not have to) so I assume this is priced aggressively to get subscribers to the service.The minuses.- The USB plug is a micro-usb. This isn't 2015! I am trying to migrate all my stuff and cables to usb-c.- There is no way to tell when the battery is full without opening the app. When plugged in to a usb port, there is an internal yellow led on, and it stays on whenever plugged in - whether the battery is at 100% or not.- In spite of what the description says, this is NOT waterproof, and I would only use it outside in a VERY protected location.- The unit only runs for about 4 hours on battery. Basically, you need to keep it plugged in for any long term monitoring.- I played around alot, but was never able to get the motion detection to work reliably. I pointed this at my front door, and wanted to get a notification when someone knocked, or dropped off a package, and not any other time! There are sensitivity settings, and a "human detection" capability. For me, nothing worked reliably - notifying me when someone came by, but not when tree shadows moved.- The only mounting option is a screwed down plate. If you don't have power right there, you need to unscrew the unit to take it to a charger.The Android app is so-so. Basic functionality is there. Alot of things seemed more difficult than they needed to be. I never figured out how to efficiently view events at a specific time on the stored video.Oh, and I did not play around at all with the nighttime IR capability!For me, this combination makes for a lousy front door security camera.This would be a great baby monitor.It would be fine as an always-on dash cam - if you jink around with the mounting.I would probably work OK as an inside security camera, near a usb plug, and in an environment that normally has no movement.

It doesn't work stand alone. It has no battery and should stay connected via USB cable. It is definitely not 1080HD. The max video resolution is 140 or 360 max. Very hard to setup application. Overall, it is not what advertised online.

Not good. Works ok but the camera itself is poor. The cor is so far off its not useable for what I want. I was hoping to use to capture video of model train nut its awful. Fine for spying I guess

Seriously!?1) Not as discribed.2) must be within 20’ or LESS of WiFi router to work 😑3) blinking light gives this away if you wanted to use discretely.

This little camera is fine as a security camera that is hidden.It did not, however, work as well as a body camera.The problem with using it as a body camera is I could never tell if it was recording, unless I hooked it up to an app on my phone.That is fine if you are planning to stay attached to your phone, but if you are trying to move quickly or work without it, this camera does not have enough indicators and controls to tell what it is doing.To be fair, it is tiny and as a hidden security camera, it can be an extremely discreet way to record.The only thing to keep in mind is that the camera is fixed, so where it points is the only field of vision you will be able to view and record remotely.Being light, this can also get knocked out of alignment easily.One odd thing to note is the camera is not the one shown in most of the pictures, but the square one shown in the thumbnail.It does come with a stand and charging cord, but to make the most out of it, you will need to download and connect to it through the app.In the end, I would give this camera high marks for compactness and affordability.I would recommend it as a highly discreet indoor camera that could be moved around as needed, or set up in a permanent spot.I would not, however, recommend this as a body camera; the square profile and controls make it a better match for stationary indoor applications.

Didn’t even get to the part to program the cam because of the ridiculous requirements that we have to disclose our credit card information and security code in order to go forward in programming to someone we don’t even know where in the world they’re located just to use a cheap cam, what a stupid trade off.

This looks like many of the low end small surveillance cameras. However, this one works a lot better than others I’ve used. The quality of the video is better, especially in low light.Note that the photos in the description are doctored. It’s about twice the size as shown. It’s about a golf-ball size, though square of course.It connects to WiFi easily and consistently and the app also works well.Overall I’m surprised by how nice this thing works.For $30 it’s a good deal.
