The item is well-built, it has a very hard solid plastic that should hold up very well to outside environments, as it is with any plastics I am sure direct sunlight could effect the units other impossible reliability. That is not a negative on the object is pretty much anything that's made of plastic exposed to the elements will eventually have a problem or a potential problem. It comes with a remote, with battery also has on on and off. Each separate plug meaning numbers one and two and three coincide to the three plugs. They work at quite a distance, I noticed up to 25 feet. There was no issues at all installing them. This would be an ideal situation for out side spotlights, Christmas lights also possibly water pumps and things like this could probably be used from a remote location. Pros solid plastic easy to read and use remote no instructions needed Cons only one remote large base for plug-ins overview, the unit is fairly affordable adds up to about $10 each plug plus the remote. I was surprised that only one remote was included being there are three plugs being used for a remote control the chances are you may end up in different areas using remotes. This is not a huge deal breaker but it would've been nice because this is not a cheap unit and an extra remote would've definitely been beneficial. I can't knock them for the price because it's close enough plus they're very clear about what's included. Definitely worth the purchase and is well built this company seems to make other types of remotes and different plug types and they all seem to be pretty solid I highly recommend it

Works great ideal for outside decorations

I purchased this indoor/outdoor wireless remote system for lights on my parents driveway at their house. They live in a rural area with no street lights and the nearest neighbor is quite a bit away. Something they could turn on from inside their car when they get out to open their driveway gate, but also from inside the front door of their house. When its dark, it is VERY dark on their property. Using the 3 plug controls and putting the remotes (I ordered additional remotes) in different locations (inside front door, side door, both their cars etc) they click 1, 2, and 3 on their remote and their driveway completely lights up. I set up the plug controls at the outlets and ran extention cords to plug in out door lights - so no electricity is going through the cords unless they click the remote to turn ON the plug control. They feel comfortable and safe! I am VERY impressed with how easy this system sets up. The remotes work perfectly and operate much further away then I was even hoping for! I contacted the seller and got 5 additional remotes and ALL WORK PERFECTLY with the original set up I bought months ago! Great customer service, quick shipping! A GREAT PURCHASE!

Looking for something to put in our gazebo. We have an extension cord with three outlets on it. Needed something to allow us to turn our fan, our lights and anything we plugged into third spot. Having a set of three that we could operate individually was perfect. The remote is an added bonus. Products seems of good quality. No need to program. Already set up! Works great so far!

We use it for multiple devices. We control the pool pump, pool lights and fire pit lights! It’s easy to use. Seems to be waterproof as it works outside ! The product itself looks very solid -well made.. I would say heavy duty. Works amazingly and fits all outlets. Timer works without any issues as well. I’m truly satisfied!!!! Now I don’t need to go outside to the bushes to plug my pool pump!

Been using outdoors in full weather 3yrs now. No issues whatsoever.

Worked right out of the box. All I had to do was plug the unit into the outlet, plug the regular power cord for my Christmas lights into the other end of it, and the button worked to turn them on and off from inside the house. Every time. No messing with it or hitting multiple times like most things that remote control, it just always works. It's very solid feeling and is doing fine in rain and an ice storm so far. Something to note though, the plugs are attached at right-angles to the cables--so it's thinner for some uses, but you can only put one per two-plug outlet. Not a big deal electrically since most double wall outlets are connected to the same circuit breaker anyhow, but it does mean that you will need some kind of splitter to put more than one cord into the same outlet. The easy way to do that is to just get the model that supports three plugs on its own if you need that capability. Again, the amazing thing for me is that it just works--I didn't have to do anything more than plug it in and click away, not so much as installing a battery since the control device has it already there.

Career electronics engineer… didn’t know these existed until I searched for alternative ways to control yard Halloween (and soon Christmas) lights that didn’t require long extension cords laying on (wet) ground, kids walking on, in still mowing/ leaf blowing season that would be dangerous. You just plug this into the nearest outlet and the decoration lights into it… and you’re done! The remote paddle switch can be just laid on a table, window sill, or mounted on the wall anywhere! (I now have a remote light on our shed, added others to control tree ‘up lights’ to provide more night lighting when friends arrive/ park there cars.

Works as described. Appears well built and decent range on the remotes.

The first one I ordered had a packaging mistake. There were 2 plugs only working with button three and 1 plug working with button one. None working with button two. I've had a great service with the seller and the other I've received is working perfectly. I use it for my heating wires on my roof for the snow. I don't even need to get close to the plug to start/stop it. I just press the buttons on the remote from wherever in the house and they work perfectly.

Très facile simple pour utilisation. Brancher dans la prise puis connecter le set de lumière ou autre ? Par la suite ON 2 X LA 1IER FOIS pour allumé off pour fermer. Chaque prise est très bien identifié 1. 2. 3. Ainsi que sur la télécommande aucune minuterie. Pleine autonomie pour ouvrir et fermer.tres simple . Recommandé. Je déteste tout se qui es compliqué.

Works very well! No pairing or difficult setup required to get working. Literally just plug what you want to control into the plug in modules, pull the battery protection strip out of the remote, and they work! I use mine outdoors to control a string of LED yard lights, deck lights and a bug zapper and it works great on all three. My range is about 30 ft (haven't tested farther) with no issues.
