Nice box for the money
Good box for the money. Holes for the metal rack isn't predrilled might give you the option for rack or no rack. The lock looks cheap but it is from China. Didn't much care for the gloss black but I planned on painting it to match. Also the luggage rack on the sissy bar needs to be wider than the 8 1/2 inch shown in the picture. There's no instructions either but with a little know how it's easy to mount. Also roomy. It fits 2 full size helmets or a typical gym bag with clothes and essentials. Not sure how water tight it is but it does rattle a bit. Might be from the fact there's no seal around the bottom half where the lid closes.

Not the easiest DIY project.
I installed this on my 1999 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail. I am an experienced DIY'er. I had to remove the sissy bar from the factory rack . The case will not fit or open if there is a sissy bar on your rack Removal of mine was a royal PIA.There are no installation instructions included so you will have to wing it. The pre-drilled holes at the bottom of the case did not line up properly with my rack so I had to drill holes to mount it. There are no pre-drilled holes for the chrome rack to mount on top of the lid. Under the lid are indications where to drill the holes. Once drilled the holes did not line up exactly with the feet on the chrome rack. I had to "stretch" the holes but that worked. On my first ride the lid rattled and came unlocked. On inspection I found that the rubber cushions attached to the inside edges of the lid were installed incorrectly. I re-installed them with glue to prevent them falling off. It solved the rattle problem. Overall this is an acceptable product as to design and construction. It is light weight. It is reasonably priced. Four stars.

The backrest could use some tweaking for rider comfort.
The backrest has a lot more padding at the top than at the bottom, which pushes against the rider's back uncomfortably if the rider leans back against it. To correct this, I went to the hardware store and got some new hardware bits to create a spacer between the front of the trunk that changed the backrest angle (and then I filled in the gap I'd created with expanding foam, which isn't visible unless the trunk is open. Other than this, the trunk itself seems pretty good. It holds a decent amount and it feels solid enough. (Update: I've made a few trips carrying gear in it, and it has performed well. The overall amount it can hold is good, and it's sturdy enough.) My solution to the backrest angle is in the photo - I went to the hardware store and bought assorted metric couplers, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. I've got the backrest mounted to the trunklid so the lower part of it extends much further out than the hardware that came with it allowed. This gives the passenger a much more pleasant angle when they lean back against it. I used big washers on both the inside and outside of the trunk to (hopefully) prevent it from cracking or pulling a bolt through, and everything feels super solid.

Alot of work
Love this trunk! I had to cut a quarter inch piece of steel to distribute the load over the area. Love it, looks great but... if you're not half engineer and half redneck you better get a few buddies to help...lol

It does what I needed
I needed a trunk that would fit on my little Honda 125. Since it gets 148 mpg I take it for all the errands it seems I have to run. This fit the bill. It’s big enough to make a quick run the the grocery store, hardware store and still have a bit of room. Of course the dimensions given in the ad are totally wrong. It’s listed as 22 inches long and 15 1/2 inches wide. That’s backwards. It’s 22 wide and 15.5 long. The mounting system was almost worthless but a quick trip to the hardware store and an hour of work, it’s on, it sturdy and it locks. For $86 I not complaining.

Buy if you can figure out a lot as diy specialist
Came with single paper of instructions that mostly contain warning that product is not suitable for all😡 the fitting bolts and nuts sent in ziplock without instructions on which set is for what purpose. Wiring is incomplete and unclear I’m yet to find a way to tamper stock wiring to use the stop & blinker connectors

Mi primer tour pack
Buen accesorio para la moto, muy bonito, lo único es que no viene marcado donde se coloca la parrilla superior y le faltó una pieza de la cerradura.
