It's too big...not suitable for the Middle Eastern mate drinking habit.

This is an amazing way to drink (and try) yerba mate . This is a very good quality cup and use it every day and has everything you need. The stainless steel is of amazing quality for the price, rivals other cups I own. Easy to clean and holds no smell. The only downside is the straw; it works just fine if you are drinking Argentinian Yerba. I would not recommended for other more powdery yerbas. I did manage to drink Chimarrao just fine with this straw so it is not bad at all but would highly recommend buying another straw for those types of yerbas (Uruguayan and Brazilian). After a month it looks brand new, a good sign for the longevity of this cup.
