Perfect hard ginger candy

**UPDATE (a few weeks later)** I now bought the GIN GINS (Bigger chunks of crystallized Ginger) and they are DELICIOUS!!!! OH MY GOSH!!! These people know their Ginger! My only complaint is the SMALL amount in the bags... The bags are ALREADY SMALL, and not even half full. I'm really tired of every food company pulling this nonsense... But I absolutely LOVE this Ginger! (Sorry for the terrible flip-phone pics!)**ORIGINAL REVIEW** At first I didn't like it! I loved the texture and the way it was sugared, but it was too spicy for me. Then after 2 days of eating it, it grew on me! I really like this stuff! It's beautiful! If you like more, smooth/mild ginger, I would not buy this one, but if you like some sharp/spiciness you will love this! My only complaint is the amount you get for the price... The bag isn't even half full. It's quite expensive ginger - but you can really see/taste/feel the quality. It's something else! I wish they would make a MILD version of this exact style! That would be WONDERFUL! (**PHOTO** Orange line indicates the fullness... Pretty empty... That's not very nice...)

This candied ginger is done to perfection. The best sweet and healthful snack. Yummy!

I didn't like these as much as the ones that are Taffy the super strength or whatever they're called

I bought a bag of this Ginger People Crystallized Ginger Candy, 3.5 Ounce.This stuff is so dangerously yummy!I love traditional Crystallized Ginger. You know, the sliced version that's always kind of hard and fibrous to chew.I saw that these are more of a cube shape, so I decided to give them a try.OH MY, MY!These are so moist and so delicious, with the crystallized outside and a moist inside.I have never had any Ginger like this before.It was very difficult for me to put the bag down!I ended up eating the entire bag in just 2 days, all by myself!Now the bag I consumed is a very small bag, of just 3.5 oz.Way to easy to gobble up in even just 1 sitting.It totally leaves you wanting more, at least it did for me.Now I hve ordered a few more bags and am anxiously awaiting their arrival.So, this is kind of expensive for the amount you get, so for me it is only a special treat.A treat that I am NOT sharing!I'm super happy with this delicious Crystallized Ginger from the Ginger People!

I’m looking for a replacement for Nutty Fruity Non Crystalized Ginger, which I had originally gotten at a Club Store. They don’t carry it anymore but Amazon does, but it’s much more expensive. I like the Ginger People brand in general and thought this would work as a replacement. It’s way too sweet, and the texture is soft and mushy. Too bad it’s such a huge bag.

I’ve been using gin gins for a couple of years now I have them stashed in my bedside table, my purse, and at my office. If I ever feel like I have an upset stomach, whether it be from eating something I shouldn’t or just not feeling well I chew three or four gin gins and within a few minutes, my issues usually go away. I am a loyal customer and actually have these on a subscription plan so that I can be assured that I will not run out of them. I have referred many people to buy these. I think they’re especially great for kids because they are similar to a gum drop.

The media could not be loaded. Very disappointed in this crystallized ginger.I love this type of candy but the product I received was hard and dried out, so hard the candy was un-chewable. I made a short video of metal scissors tapping one of the hard ginger chunks — so hard it made a noise. I managed to taste one piece, and it was too sweet and over-sugared. The pieces were coated in a super-sweet sugar glaze. Read other recent reviews. Very disappointed. I hope The Ginger People will improve their selection of ginger root and manufacturing process.
