Of all of the flower arranging foam I have worked with, this foam sets the standard. It is soft enough for stems to glide through and sturdy enough to support them. The material used for this product is the best on the market and very hard to find in home and garden stores. Excellent for fresh, dried and plastic flowers and greenery. It is green so no gaps show in the arrangement. It is a luxury to work with.

I had been using rocks and scrap Styrofoam to hold my artificial flowers in a vase so I asked my husband to order these. They are thinner than I expected. When I poked the stems into the foam the stems went right through the foam. The blocks also seemed to break off in chunks with the slightest sharp touch (like my nails, which actually aren't even sharp). I guess these blocks will be okay but I don't know how long they will last in a planter outside.

I am planning for a trunk or treat event. I want to use these as the base to some fake cue poles. The really great thing is that after the trunk or treat, I'll still be able to use these for something else!They are the typical material that I've always called oasis.

I was honestly disappointed to get these floral foam blocks and see how poor of quality they are. They have big cuts, gashes, imprints, etc. and are not round around the edges as pictured. Because of all these flaws, they break apart and crumble easily. You could also get better quality floral foam from a big box or craft store for a lower price. For all of these reasons, unfortunately I cannot recommend this product.

The product is exactly what I expected. The foam is exactly as advertised. These were sturdy and fit in the bottom of my flower pots. I used them to hold my flower stems and for height in my planter pots.
