We all deserve warmth...
The temperature where I live is pretty constant, somewhere between 40°-65°. However, our winters have been getting pretty cold lately, sometimes down to 25° with pouring rain. Unfortunately, we also have a pretty large homeless population. It's not unusual to see someone sleeping on a bench, the ground, under some bushes, etc...There is one woman who sleeps on the same bench pretty much every night wrapped in blankets. She's out there in the open, every day, even in the rain. I drove by her one day on my way to work and she literally had frost on her blanket. Frost, on a human being. These blankets are cheap enough that I buy them to hand out to houseless people who look like they need to keep warm/dry. They are small enough to be carried in a pocket, have many different uses, and I buy the camouflage ones so they can be used somewhat discretely-I hope that someone can get a better nights sleep because of them.

Does the job!
Kept me warm on a cold windy day at my grandson's soccer game. You neeed a ziplock sandwich bag to put it in when you're finished using it. No way will it go back in its original bag.

Great quality and value
I purchased these recently and I absolutely can't say enough about the quality that you're getting. I bought these for some EDC kits I'm making for my wife and I and they seem just light years better than your standard mylar emergency blanket you pick up for cheap. Not only that, but you receive 4 of these little bad boys along with the bonus mini gold blanket which is such a great value. Also, appreciate the company emailing me after I purchased them to make sure I was satisfied. Top notch product, even better customer service. Must buy!

Preparation 101
Just a MUST have for any individual or household. From the natural disaster you didn’t expect, to the camping trip gone wrong, the multitude of various uses these “Blankets” can provide is abundant to say the least. Love that they can be cut, arranged, and utilized to individual needs and scenario. The extra Gold pack says mini but based on the dimensions provided, it would appear it’s the same size as the Silver. God Bless & hope you never have to put it to use!

Blankets did the job!
I am using this product for an unusual reason, to help some lost 4-legged furry friends get warm in the sometimes sub-zero weather in the Northeast. I take care of 4 lost kitties, they are not feral. I built 3 shelters for them, covering them with the thermal blankets over many layers of plastic shower curtains. I filled the shelters with clean straw and checked every day if things were dry. Success all around! One time when I checked, one kitty had been in there because I could still feel warmth in the straw. This was a temp of 3 degrees, so I was so happy to help provide them warmth. Definitely will buy again, probably today. 5 stars from me to Swiss Safe!

An exellent product and real bargain
Way back in 1967-68, I carried one of the early versions of these mylar blankets (then called a "Space Blanket" after its NASA origin) in a side pocket of my jungle pants in Vietnam. I don't think I ever used it, but I had one. For what they can do, these emergency blankets from Swiss Safe are a true bargain - four green/silver blankets and a bonus gold one (not sure what its specific use is) each individually packaged. I've bought several for my home, my truck, my children and their kids, and some friends too. Two of these (one under and one on top) can keep a person warm in almost any situation. Having a few of these around is a no-brainer.

One of YouTube's 10 Best Survival Blankets 2018- not the best but it made the list
Well, these are for my emergency pack. I can't write a totally honest review since they will be going into my emergency pack and I'll probably never use. Doubt these can be used more than twice. What I mean they don't appear to be able to take an extreme beating. Truthfully, the word blanket was a little misleading at first but after watching a bunch of YouTube videos (after my purchase) I better understood how mylar works. This will certainly keep you dry and warm if you find a way of keeping yourself wrapped inside - hope you're tiny. I read one person's idea of using duck tape to put two together - What a great idea - wish I thought of. The blanket will not be good under windy conditions unless you can secure closed. Blanket can also serve as shade to reflect the sun. There are other emergency blankets available that you can better shelter yourself with but they cost a lot more, a lot, lot, lot, more -- of course, it's only fair. The SOL Escape Bivvy I liked but the question is - "Can I afford it?" And it is still very thin and I need one of these or a tarp to protect the Bivvy from the ground. The last bad thing about this mylar blanker is -- you will never, ever, get this blanket back into the pouch it came in. That is the only reason I didn't take the chance of unfolding it. If you watch YouTube videos or read blogs you will better understand how the emergency blankets should be used and which blankets you may personally prefer to purchase. Also, with videos you will get rid of misconceptions of what to expect from emergency blankets, (Mylar blankets will not warm you like a cloth blanket that absorbs heat, it does not absorb heat, it reflects it back to you. Used incorrectly you could freeze to death), you will understand the scientific principles of what you need to do to survive the elements in an emergency if you watch YouTube videos. Warning - different people online have different ideas of how to use mylar, go with manufacturer's suggestions on how to use. Against your skin mylar can make you sweat and in freezing weather you can get hypothermia or worse freeze in your frozen sweat. **Remember - an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure** So even if you don't like it put it in your emergency pack anyway. You might thank yourself later and don't forget the duct tape. Don't buy cheap duct tape either.

Cutest mini survival blanket ever!
I haven't had the chance to use one of these yet. I was very surprised when I saw the mini blanket. It's the most adorable survival blanket I've ever seen.It would fit well in a first aid kits or molle pouch.Worth buying just for the mini blanket. Im gonna have to order some more of these. My g/f will be jelous again and steel mine. Lol.The camo blankets look ok. Over all seems like a good purchase. I'll update when I get the chance to use one.

Amazing as heat reflectors
I strung up about 8 of these things around an outdoor fireplace (see picture) and voila, an instant (-10°C) winter party. Everyone was toasty... as long as I kept up with the fire that is lol. Good value.
