CUTS WELL AND GOOD QUALITY

Bought for male friend, so his opinion. Easy to use, good quality, just as expected, good for the price. Does what it says on the tin according to him.

It is ok but a little bit small,doesn’t quite manage the size it says it should.came in the time frame as promised.It is nice and light and that was one of the main features we were looking for. Value for money.Cant say about battery life at moment as not been used enough.

When the item arrived the box was rattling, no a good sign. When opened I saw that the saw, batteries, charger, spanners and blade had just been dropped into an empty box, no packing around them, just left loose. I put a battery on charge and decided to fit the blade. The unit itself was quite light and felt comfy in the hand, but I noticed that the trigger was in the CG zone for when it was picked up. The blade fitting was straight forward but found on the cast metal blade guard the flash had been left, even painted over, and it was sharp, could easily cut a finger if not careful. When the battery was charged, the indicator on the batter charger had turned green, I fitted it to the saw. When I picked it up, my hand in the centre of the handle, my finger caught the trigger and the saw started. I let it go to see if the safety switch, the one you should press before anything works, was stuck, but there wasnt one, neither was there a second on the pommel which should ensure that both hands are out of the way of the spinning blade. With these features absent, the saw was operated with extere caution. But it cut reasonably well, even deep cuts were managed. When the battery was exhausted I changed to the second battery and that had been on charge whilst I was using the saw, but it died after about 4 minutes. I checked the first battery, now on charge, but the light was green, after only about 10 minutes. I swapped batteries again, knowing that the battery to be connected was exhausted but the light remained green. I left it all night, fitted the battery the following morning, about 3 minutes run time. The charger obviously at fault. I am very disappoint with this device, not only are the electrics faulty, the mechanical parts are not finished as you would expect and the safety features, well, there aren't any. It's going to be returned. For many years our standards officers have been striving to make our electrical hand tools safer, fool proof operation. This product takes a massive leap backwards, in my opinion. It should only be used by the very experienced, and then, beware, it could cause serious damage. I speak as as engineer with 45+ years in the trade handling portable tools. I'd like to give a no star rating, so 1 star it has to be.

Know nothing, just this item stops cutting halfway through the cut, question is what do i do ,can i replace it or just try and fix it

wowspeed 18v cordless circular saw 3000w. This was on sale for £47.99 when I got it. I know on a couple of the photos it says “without blade” but I can confirm that this saw does come with a blade. Also comes with 2 batteries, a charger as well as the saw and a tool to change the blade. The saw feels good in your hand, nice and comfortable. Feels nicely weighted and balanced, not too heavy in one direction. It’s not really that noisy, and it cuts well, great for the price.
