It’s easy to use and clean. The board is about 12” long. There is a small amount of space between the blade and the edge that I place a cutting board alongside it to level the bread which makes bread slicing a breeze and the blade is sharp so having the guard makes me feel safe to use the handle and it keeps the sliced bread away from the handle. The crank handle is smooth while turning the handle, no shaking. It’s a manual speed so I have total control, and cuts the bread with ease no jagged edges, no more uneven slices, no rough edges. The suctions under the board really help it stay in place so no need to push it up against the wall. The best part is the adjustable dial, I can make the bread as thick or thin as I need for sandwiches or french toast. Overall it’s safe, worth every penny and I would buy I again. I recommend it.

I know this sounds crazy, but I swear being able to easily cut uniform slices of bread makes it taste even better. This slicer is beyond easy to use. LOVE IT!!!!!! I hesitated for over a year if I should buy a slicer or not. Now that I have it I don’t know what I was waiting for. Easy to use, easy to change width of slices, easy to clean. Suctions well to counter top. I only wish it came with some kind of safety shield to prevent fingers from being cut accidentally. That’s never happened to me but it might if you aren’t paying attention while using. Definitely a good purchase at a good price!

This bread slicer works really well for the price. I did adjust the tension on the knob that sets the bread measurement. It will move while you are slicing, as it is when you receive. it's really simple to tighten. After tightening it slightly, it stays in place. The suction cups will keep it in place as long as your surface and the suction cups are clean, if either are dirty it will slip. It's well made, light but sturdy, no plastic parts. The blades are sharp. They cut through the bread nicely no matter the stage in the breads life. It came with a tool to adjust and remove the parts which was nice. I am happy with my purchase. Disclaimer: I am only using this slicer on artisan style sourdough I can't speak for other bread types.

This is an incredible product. It is built well and comes with a 3-year warranty to back it up. After putting in all the time and effort to make a loaf of sourdough bread, it is very frustrating when you try to cut it with a knife and the slices are all different thicknesses and not straight. Not to mention it is quite difficult to cut into the thick crust. This bread slicer makes slicing sourdough bread much safer and easier. I would like to also offer one bit of advice. When removing the slicer from the counter do not just pull on the cutting board. All you need to do is take a butter knife and slide it underneath the slicer and lightly touch each of the suction cups. The slicer pops right up. I have mentioned this slicer to some of my co-workers who also makes sourdough bread. I told them this would be the best product they ever bought when it comes to sourdough bread. They all bought one and agreed. If you enjoy sourdough bread as much as I do. This is a must buy.

Brings joy to the simple act of cutting a fresh loaf. We love how simple it is to get straight, consistent slices every time. We love that there are no batteries or cords and it is so easy to use. The only negative is that there is not a blade shield for when it is not in use. The blade is sharp and hubby nicked himself while moving it which makes me not want to keep it handy (on my counter) when the grandkids come 'round. We're looking for a safety shield as we'd love to keep it on the counter next to the fresh loaves.

Awesome bread slicer!! It’s versatile so you can adjust the thickness of your slices and breeze quickly through a loaf with the sharpe blade. I love how it suctions to the counter so it stays in place, so you can slice fast, especially through the hard crust. Highly recommend!

I bought this for a gift for my sister and she said it works great you can change the different thickness of bread when you cut it she makes a lot of sourdough bread it's very sharp and it's good value

I have been using this bread slicer for about 2 months. I make sourdough bread, and this slicer has made my life so much easier. It easily, evenl, and effortlessly slices my bread into any thickness slice I prefer. I regret having previously bought a very expensive bread knife. This slicer is so much better and faster, and at a third of the price of my knife. I really like that it has a real wood base, and not pressed wood. When I've finished slicing aromatic bread, I can wash it under the faucet to remove any lingering aromas and crumbs. After slicing multiple loaves, I notices the slice size was slipping and letting my slices get wider. Fortunately, it comes with a tightening tool, so I was able to tighten it up, and now I'm back to perfect slices. The only con is that when you get to the butt of the loaf, and you want make your last thin slice, you really have to watch your fingers because there's no tool to hold the bread against the blade. A small block of wood or plastic would work. I've been trying different things, but haven't found the ideal tool yet. But I still have all my fingers.
