I gots to have usb c in my ride. Just saved my ass $30000 dollars buying a new car.

Removed the QI charger switch and replaced it with this item. The wires has to be spliced to work, took about 30 minutes, which included searching for connectors to plug into to, but there wasn't any so spliced into cigarette lighter wires. Works as it is supposed to , been installed for several days now. I wish they had an all black one to match the interior and other switches, might disconnect the lights and paint the bezel of it black. Instructions would have been nice, but I found a video to replaced cigarette lighter and it was easy.

I couldn’t find one of these specific to a 2019 Lexus GX460 so took a chance. I’m not a fan of weird lights and I like an OEM look. This is not plug and play for GX. I wired it up the 12v cigarette plug. I also popped off the cover and used a small screw driver to gently pop each led off. This plug is a bit too large for the GX so I sanded all the sides until it installed properly. Functions. Zero lights. Ideally I would have this in another location but it is what it is.

Other than NinjaVan, the Shipper (the last mile) the whole process could have been seamless. This is the 3rd time using Ninja Van as the last mile shipper created a massive delay due to shipper very poor communication and less than mediocre skills. Lies after lies! This will stop me from buying again which makes me sad!

The description was incomplete. For example, it did not give the basic wattage rating. If I calculated it right, 5V x 3.1 amps = 15.5 watts. Most usb-c chargers are 20 or more. There are no instructions. 2 people in Q&A (if you can find them since Amazon foolishly decided to hide them) said it plugged into the back of the cigarette lighter. But the fittings on this charger won't fit a 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I had to cut off the fittings, add a fuse to the fuse panel and wire it directly to the truck. Then both outlets worked. The case did not fit the Toyota dash cutouts. They have rounded corners but this is square. I needed to file the corners to fit the opening. I bought this because it was the only one I could find anywhere with 2 usb-c outlets that would in the dash openings. For my application, this turned out to be more installation work than it was worth. I recommend getting a charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter.Update: I've had it installed for a week. It's been working fine. I figured out the colored part has a light. Make sure to wire this so the light is off when the vehicle is off.

Look on youtube how to pry the panels to get access to cigarette lighter socket. It splits behind the socket

Plugged right into my 2010 Toyota Tundra. Works so far. Looks good too.

I installed it in my Rav4 and it works perfectly. Both ports are fast charging and it took less than 10 minutes to install.Definitely recommend!

For anyone looking to replace a usb/aux combo port on your Toyota.I somehow overlooked the connection of this usb plug. The male/female plugs that come with it are to daisy chain to the 12v adapter.I was looking to use this to retain aftermarket headunit usb for wired AA/Carplay this does not work for that. I ended up replacing the usb/aux for faster charging then stock usb port , and just then ran the the included usb from my aftermarket headunit to the glovebox to use with AA/Carplay.

Returned because I would have to cut part of the dash to make it fit. Not a true plug-and-play
