Bought two of these. Excellent quality, fits super tight and snug. Cartridges and slugs fit well, no chance of them falling out. For the price buy 2, just in case you lose one or get another gun and you don't want the other gun jealous that you left it without a cartridge holder. Looks cool too and easy access for hunting or at the range. Its also alot nicer to rest your cheek on than the wood stock.

This is a great buy! Slips on easy enough, holds 12 gauge shells with a perfect balance between tight enough that the shell will never fall out, and not too tight that you can't quickly remove a shell when you need to. Would recommend this for the casual shooter, hunter, or for a home defense gun. If you are doing intense run and gun courses or plan on taking this to war, you may want to step up to a higher quality item, but the price alone should have already told you that. I currently have one on my home defense shotgun, an IAC Hawk 982t (870 clone with pistol grip butt-stock) and the fit is great. It slides up a tad if I basically try and make it slide up, but in normal use it stays put. Was going to just transfer it between my HD gun and my actual 870 hunting shotgun when needed, but for the price I will be ordering a 2nd so they are both equipped at all times. Buy it now.

These normally retail for $10+ and have been worth it when I have purchased them from hunting stores so $5 is a great deal on Amazon. They should be considered somewhat disposable. Use them for a year during heavy use or longer if only occasionally removed.I have punched a small hole in all of mine to allow for a swivel stud to poke out, this also helps to keep it from sliding around when climbing obstacles or punching through thick bush. Great way to keep a slug or steel on your gun if you have a variety of quarry requiring different loads.
