This is an excellent suitcase for the price. It’s practical, durable, and easy to travel with. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, budget-friendly large suitcase.

Well, after trawling through countless reviews, I plumped for this suitcase, it's reviews were great & it's price is competitive. I made the mistake of ordering the large version, Wow, it was huge .! So I returned it, & purchased the medium. It's a nice rose gold colour, my wife loves, it. It appears well made, the zips, seem up to the job, has 4 wheels, & a handle. People moaning about no lock, well honestly, buy a couple of quality Yale small padlocks, gonna cost you what £6....? At least it doesn't have combination locks like some cases, that actually don't work.? & Can't reset. It has a strap in one side, to hold things in, & a zipped partition in the other side, which when unzipped, gives access to the bottom half of the case, ingenious, I thought. The proof of the pudding will be seen, after it's first trip abroad. Any case no matter the cost is at the mercy of baggage handlers, & could be thrown or dropped & damaged at any time, regardless of cost. My ethos is buy a hopefully quality mid range case, & if by chance it gets damaged in transit your not out of pocket to hundreds of pounds, & is replaceable. The zips seem to be ok, there not YKK, the gold standard zip, so how long they will last is hard to estimate, but hopefully the Amazon basic hard shell case, will take the knocks, & last for a few years of trips, hopefully. Time & travel destinations will reveal it's strength's & hopefully not too many weaknesses.

I purchased this suitcase for a short trip and it impressed me. The hardshell exterior is tough and durable, providing excellent protection for my belongings. Despite being lightweight, the suitcase feels sturdy enough to handle the usual bumps and knocks of air travel. The material gives it a modern, stylish look, and it resists scratches fairly well, keeping the suitcase looking new after multiple uses. At 55 cm, this suitcase is the max size for a carry-on. It easily fits in overhead compartments, and I haven’t had any issues with it meeting airline size restrictions thought your mileage may vary. The expandable feature is fantastic when I need that extra bit of space for souvenirs or additional clothes. It gives me flexibility without adding too much bulk. However, using the expandable feature will make it too large to be used as a carry on. The wheels are great. They glide effortlessly in any direction, making it easy to maneuver through airports, train stations, and crowded spaces. I can roll the suitcase beside me or push it in front without any resistance. The wheels move smoothly on both carpeted and hard surfaces, which adds to the convenience. The interior space is well-designed and roomy enough to pack for several days. The interior is divided into two compartments, with a fully zipped side for organizing clothes and a strap on the other side to secure larger items. I appreciate the additional zippered pockets inside, which are great for storing smaller items like chargers, toiletries, or important documents. The handle is the only negative I found in the suitcase. It doesn't really fit in the holes securely. There is a lot of extra play when fully extended but it doesn't make me doubt the durability. The carry handles on the top and side are also well made, making it easy to lift the suitcase when needed. For its price it offers fantastic value. Overall really good for occasional travelers but not quite sure how it will hold up under much heavier use.

I bought this suitcase as I was in need of a new one after replacing my 5 year old bag. I ordered with a Prime as would be expected with an Amazon own brand item. I spent a long time looking for a case that good quality, inexpensive, will fit standard cabin sizes (EasyJet, Ryainair) but alsonstrong enough to do the job and will last out for a few years, I think this has good potential. This is hard sided, which makes it difficult to scratch and in my opinion a better option against getting crushed and resist more knocks and bangs. With fabric cases I find they invariably get dirty and damaged very quickly, whilst being loaded in and out of planes, trains and cars. This has already been on 3 trips with me and has lasted and still remains in good condition. The storage space inside is great and maximises the use of the space you have available. It has a zip up side and an open side that has a double elastic band that clicks together and keeps your clothes in place. It has has two zip pockets on the inner lining which I particularly like, you can out your travel documents and currency in their quite easily and take them out again without unpacking your whole bag. My only critisicm is the handle strength. It shakes a little bit when in use and I feel there's a little too much give in it. Whilst fine to use with the 4 x 360 degree wheels, it is easy enough to push and pull along in all directions. I think if anything is going to break on this bag first, it will be the handle or the mechanism for the handle. This could be improved in V2 if they ever upgrade. One more thing to note is the branding on the bag. Their is a non-removable "Amazon Basics" brand label applied to the top right corner. I'm not too bothered about it personally, but if your image conscious, it's worth bearing in mind. Many of the hand luggage covers you can buy separately would cover this in transit if you really needed, but shouldn't deter you from buying this bag. A good quality hand luggage price for a reasonable price. Recommended.

This case has been a good purchase. It has so far (1 holiday/2 flights) shown to be sturdy and the casing has not cracked. It was large enough for a 10-day holiday and was slightly under the allowable weight (even when expanded), so a good choice. The wheels are very good and it doesn't fall over when you let go of it, unlike some other cases we've had. The zip is also sturdy. I'm sure these will last a good few holidays more! We are going to buy another one.

Thrilled with my purchase. Roomy, neat and well made. Slides along with a gentle push. I love the colour, too. Can’t wait to use it That will be the real test.

The case does not have any lock on it . Also the zips on the interior covers have no tag on them so you have to pull the zip together/apart with two fingers which is very fiddly and time consuming.
