I have an older model of this same fan.so when I needed an extra one for a camping trip I bought this one. At a full charge it has lasted 3 nights on the low setting and still has 2 dots of battery left. The switch is what I Love the most. The dial allows you to set the speed how you want it.

This is a pretty good little fan that works pretty much as advertised. Their runtime claims are a bit optimistic though. I charged it to full overnight and let it run on high until the battery died, and it lasted for 6 hours and 50 minutes.Pass-through charging works - mostly. I watched it charge from 75% to 100% while the fan was running on high. It could not keep up and lost battery charge when the light and fan were both on high.It uses USB-C but it does not appear to take advantage of higher voltages that the USB-PD standard offers - it always ran at 5v on all of my tests and with multiple PD compliant chargers and cables.One of the pages in the instructions mentioned that it uses an 18650 cell, so that's nice to know that I'll be able to swap it out when the time comes. It looks like it should be possible to disassemble the fan to get to the cell but it might do some cosmetic damage to get in there.I have a fancy USB multimeter thingy that tells exactly how much volts and amps it's drawing, so here's some tech specs that I collected:450 mA - Battery charging current350 mA - Fan on low850 mA - Fan on hi425 mA - Light on hi1700 mA - Highest total current draw I was able to get the fan to pull from the wall chargerOverall it's a good deal and seems to be worth the money.

OK, I own several of these fans and love how quite they are and they can really put out a breeze! A couple of summers ago we were without a/c for a week in 100+ weather. We still had our ceiling fans and were able to stay relatively cool downstairs but that's the first time it dawned on me, what would it have been like if the electricity had gone out completely? So I started looking into solar fans. Finding these fans have been a game changer for my piece of mind. But, here's where it gets interesting. . .So, you know when you place an order through Amazon and you get said item only to realize someone else has already returned it. Yeh,time to send it back as you want the new item you paid for and not the faulty one someone else returned ; I don't blame the seller for this as I often wonder if they even know the extent of this Amazon practice. I give this fan company high ratings because I've had to return a few of these fans and make a replacement request and they make it so easy to do. So. 5 stars for the fan, 5 stars for the company. . . BRILLIANT!

My brother hung this for me in my shed, waiting for hot summer and the fan is just what I needed to feel comfortable outside. Love it.
