I have 2 of these now. The larger adult one in aluminium and this ‘plastic’ one.I love both of them.I have quite large hands for a woman but I do think I prefer the junior size as it just sits more comfortably and I’m not hesitant I’m going to drop it.These are quite weighty toys and extremely well made. The mechanism is extremely smooth and easy to turn.The aluminium one is too cold for me to use straight away. I need to warm it with my hands first so for me that’s a bit annoying. Once it’s warm it’s fine to use.The plastic one feels more like a warm rubber also there is no actual give in it as rubber would and I much prefer this texture. It’s smooth but warm, hard to explain how nice it feels. Hopefully someone will understand.They are quite pricy but the quality is just spot on.Would be nice to have a roller ball or something at the ends to fidget with when I want to use my fingers.

I never normally do reviews but after taking this thing out of the box, I can't put it down. I got the abs plastic version because I wear rings on both hands and figured that a metal one would make too much noise. I find the texture alone on this thing is addictive. It feels really smooth especially after using it for a while because it warms up. You don't know you're holding it and the action of rolling in your hand becomes the norm, but at the same time takes your mind off of things. The quality of workmanship is perfect. There are no sharp edges or screws protruding which makes it comfortable however you hold it. The size is discrete and nobody would know you were holding it if maybe in a business meeting or busy environment.

I have both a diagnosis of Autism and am borderline ADHD, so find it near impossible to maintian focus without fidgeting.After trying spinners, fidget cubes, squishy toys, and even just carrying a console controller around (my usual outlet that isn't my phone), I can say that this is by far the best of the lot!I bought a Junior Roller as I have petite hands.It's smooth and silent, so doesn't distract anyone else, and the build quality feels exceptional and long lasting, which is good because I haven't put it down for days. It makes it so much easier for me to focus on conversations or to watch a movie, and reduces the amount of anxiety I get when I go outside.Super happy with my purchase; it's more than worth the money.

My son is 9 with sensory processing disorder. He’s super bright but couldn’t settle down to write in class as his anxiety and distraction was too overwhelming. This roller is fantastic, is silent, simple and easy to use and helps my son to focus and manage his anxiety. His teacher is amazed at the difference it makes. I bought the black one so it didn’t look like a toy and so didn’t draw attention. He is so thrilled that he has a strategy now. Can’t recommend enough. The roller is sleek, quiet, a pleasing weight in the palm and a smooth roll. My eldest daughter has started biting her nails in anxiety… hurts what she’s getting for Christmas?!

**update** I contacted Ono about this issue as the return window for Amazon was over by a few days. They said it was not expected for normal wear and tear and are sending a replacement. Very good customer service and communication.Daughter loves this (9 years old) - she uses it throughout the school day to help her focus in class. Had it just over a month and have had to tighten it twice. Two alan keys are provided so this was expected. What was unexpected was the surface wearing as it has as seen in the images provided.Feels good, silent mechanism, weighty, fits kids hand well.The only thing that would have made it a 5* apart from the surface wear would be if the Allen keys were a touch smaller so they fitted comfortably in the pouch with the Ono. This probably isn't a problem with the adult ones.

Very pleased with this fidget toy. Smooth quiet action. Definitely worth the money.

The barrels started showing cracks within days. Plus the screws come loose easily. Finally got around to putting it back together today, and it’s extremely easy to over tighten and I’ve cracked both the top and bottom pieces. Very disappointing considering the price.

I actually bought this junior size for myself with the intentions of sharing it with my 7 year old. Opened it and it sort of fits my hand but the sides are rubbing my hand, stopping the flow. In other words, the entire thing fits in my hand horizontally. I think I'd be better off with the longer Original size so the sizes hang off my hand a bit so the ends don't rub on my hand. I'm 5'4 female with average sized hands. I handed it over to my 7 year old and it fits his hands perfectly. This video is my 7 year old ADHD kiddo going to town with this thing while he's watching his tablet! Perfect size for his hands. He fidgets a ton to the point where he will make his fingers bleed picking at the skin. He keeps saying how much he loves this thing and he hasn't been picking his fingers or hair since subconsciously using it.I have since ordered myself the original size to see if that fits my hand better. Since this junior size one has apparently been claimed by my 7 year old lol.EDIT TO ADD: I have since ordered myself the original size and it fits my hand much better. I can easily flow it through my hand without it feeling any resistance as I did with the junior size because the original is long enough to where the sides are slightly wider than my hand. The original is significantly heavier than the junior size because it's aluminum (I didn't realize this when I ordered it). It's completely smooth whereas the junior has a matte texture to it. The Original makes zero sound when using it. The Junior it's hard to explain but I can hear maybe my skin rubbing on the plastic matte finish (?) at each spin? Not sure how to explain it but the barring itself are silent but using your hand it makes a very slight noise. Something to note if you were to try and use the Junior discretely. The person sitting next to you would likely hear it! The Original - they wouldn't hear anything.I wish there was an option to get the Original but not aluminum but instead in the exact same material as the junior. This would decrease the weight. As of now, I can only use the original with my palm facing up. Otherwise I will drop it because it's heavier than the junior and gravity is gravity!I use this while Watching a movie, driving, working on the computer, in meetings - in person and virtually. This thing has stopped my finger skin picking (as long as I have it with me). My kid loves his too, so much that he actually catches himself when he starts to self destructive fidget and will go grab his junior ONO!

Super great quality and nice feel in the hand. Motion is smooth and silent, so perfect for school. My son brought it to school and he said he enjoyed spinning it and it helped him focus on the teacher more (his interpretation hahaha, not sure what the teacher thought).

HEAVY, feels solid and expensive in your hand. Fit my average female hands well. This is one of my favorite fidgets for when I am around others, as it makes absolutely no noise. The texture of the grip surface is like a soft satin finish, which I enjoy. My kids ask to use it occasionally, they are 6 and 9. Smoooooooooth rolling.

looks premium function as it should be, but I have to say it the material it made off its just has stiffness in to it makes a bit heavier to what it is and hard to roll it for few minutes, just if the material more durable has some sponge feel it would be better that would be more ease to the nerves I guess.
