DURATECH 1/2" Drive 24-Inch Heavy Duty Breaker Bar with 240° Flex Head

I was skeptical this breaker bar would make removing stuck bolts 'easy'. I knew it would work, eventually, but I thought there would still be some sweat involved, maybe some @#&$!! LOL I'm not tall, I'm in OK shape, I can open most jars. I just bought a mower and wanted to change blades which involves nuts and bolts. I thought a normal ratchet would work, despite what some reviewers said. Nope, breaker bar required. This worked so easily, with very little effort. Yay! Give this and a 1/2 drive socket set to graduates, as wedding gifts, or for house warming gifts. Every home should have this. Makes repairs, upgrades, and DIY so much less stressful and will save you money in the long run. This is well made and sturdy. You need 1/2 inch drive sockets to use it. The drive is the part that clicks in to the socket so you have a handle, it has only 4 sides, not the size of the nut or bolt you are working on, that's the other side of the socket and has a star pattern. Also, there's no button on the breaker bar for quick release of the socket. You just pull it straight up and off. Great tool!

I used this duratech 1/2 breaker bar to uninstall and install my motor mounts on my 2009 Nissan Altima, and I honestly could have not done that job without it. Heavy duty as says. Works great as it says, would recommend again. Will purchase other items from duratech in the future.

This thing is a beast. My lug bolts keep seizing to the point where your regular garage impact wrenches can't pull them off. I've twisted 4 way lug tools trying to get them off. This thing turned those bolts with no sign of stress. Long enough for good leverage. Strong enough to not bend or creak. The joints are as solid as the were when I got it.

You can feel the strength of this tool the first time you pick it up. The head is smooth working, and the sockets don't fall off. I used this to break the Anode rod on the hot water tank - using my considerable full weight - it broke free. Saving this tool in the laundry room just for rod replacements. I would recommend this brand of tool to anyone.

Nicely made and was perfect for removing the lug nuts on my 10k trailer axles. The only issue was the ball to hold the socket or extension was permanently depressed so it won’t hold the socket on very tightly. Not a big deal but it did allow the socket to fall off when I would set it down. I tried lubricant but the ball will not move in or out. Otherwise it is great.

Great breaker bar. Used a cordless with 1000lbs torque and could not remove 2/5 bolts. Used this bar and they came off easy. Great quality. Long and heavy enough for any job (DIY jobs). Great price too.

Heavy weight, well built. Socket and bar made for each other. Lugs would come off without a problem.

used a few times while replacing my 2006 Outback brakes and suspension parts with very rusted bolts that were no match for this miracle worker!
