Well built, durable axe I used for a camping trip this week to split wood for the fire! It worked well and is such a nice axe! It comes very sharp from the factory and comes with a sharpening stone! The included sheath is very nice, built out of leather and very easy to use! The handle and wood grain look amazing and it came with a lanyard you can tie on! Overall very satisfied with the axe and it split wood very easily for the fire!

I bought this axe for chopping wood at my cabin, and it’s exceeded expectations. The build quality is excellent—solid handle, well-balanced weight, and the head came razor-sharp right out of the box. It makes splitting logs surprisingly easy, even with harder woods like oak.The grip feels secure, even after extended use, and there’s minimal vibration on impact. I've used it for a few weekends now and it’s held up well with no signs of wear or loosening.If you're looking for a reliable axe for firewood, camping, or general outdoor use, this one is a great buy. Very nice hatchet. I would except something like this to cost a bit more. Did come kinda sharp and worked for what I needed at the moment. But it does need to be sharpened. Comes with 4 circular wedges for new handles, don't throw away. Sharpening stone is decent. Leather head will do but would benefit from being a bit thicker. Overall, I love it and would recommend to anyone. Only for stars due to the hatchet not being sharp enough and no sharpening instructions.

I really appreciate this hatchet! I expected it to be a bit more expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised. It arrived fairly sharp and served its purpose perfectly for my needs at the time. However, I do feel it could benefit from a little extra sharpening. The fact that it comes with four circular wedges for new handles is a thoughtful touch—definitely a keep! This has a nice shape, the handle has a great feel and finish, well balanced and sharp. The leather sheath and sharpener are nice extras.
