I don’t normally write reviews on Amazon, but I felt I needed to with this purchase of this island. First of all the finished product looks great and feels sturdy. Assembly was straight forward, I do recommend that two people do it as some parts of the assembly require to flip the unit to attach parts on either side.The reason for the 5 star was the customer support. When we received our island the packaging was damaged. I put in a return request and their customer service replied back within a few hours with a very professional reply. Basically they assured me, even though the packaging might be damaged that the parts in the box are typically safe due to robust packaging. And if I were to find any damages they would replace them immediately. If I wasn’t happy to accept this, they would honor my return, they just wanted me to see if the parts were ok. It turned out that every part was in tact and no dings or scratches were visible. The parts were well protected. Just for doing that they gave me a $10 refund. Not that $10 was going to get me to write a review, but the sheer professionalism and to stand behind the quality of their packaging, I felt it deserved a review. Along with the product being exactly as described.Thank you team for your excellent customer service.

When I first opened the package, there was so many different bags full of screws and other items but I must say if you follow the directions, everything is marked quite clearly. I had a helper putting it together. He knew more than I did, but I must say it’s a beautiful island kitchen and it’s a good quality. Helps to have a power drill too .

Love the product. One of my drawers doesn’t close all the way. It arrived earlier than expected. Putting it together definitely took some time doing it alone. The pieces are pretty sturdy. And it was along longer than I expected.

The island itself is really beautiful and sturdy if built correctly, but just keep in mind assembly is really time consuming and instructions can be confusing at times. It took around 7 hours to build just using a regular screwdriver.

This island is spectacular!! It looks really, really great n my kitchen. Exactly like the picture. Of course I had to have a handyman put it together, but it’s truly worth it…

Not going to lie, this is trash. It's cheaply made. Instructions are not only unclear but not all the bags with multiple pieces of hardware are not labeled or incorrectly labeled. Now I have to go get my own hardware because of these BS instructions. Don't buy this. I'm sending it back and if amazon wants to receive the package it'll be by the trash on Wednesday. I'm discussed.

Expected better for the price. Tiny tiny screws to attach folding top and screw holes were not fully drilled nor did they fully line up so scews did not go in evenly or fully. Top is solid but rest of pieces are 1/2 inch very thin, so don't expect them to hold up long at all. Instructions included tiny pictures that made it very hard to see what piece went where. Screws and other pieces came packaged, labeled and mixed together so you had to sort through multiple sets of screws mixed in same package to even find correct ones. Overall for the price was expecting much better quality, packaging and instructions. Maybe worth $200 at most. Look elsewhere if you want an actual functional piece you can use longterm.
