BioCare Vitamin C 500 - with Magnesium and Bilberry Extract - for Skincare, Energy Support and Normal Muscle Function - 60 Capsules

These really work for me. This low acid form of vitamin C has not caused any tummy issues for me, during the past month of taking them. I needed to build up my immunity following pneumonia, but I cannot tolerate the normal ascorbic acid supplements. So I was very happy to find this magnesium based vitamin C which is easier to absorb without the acidity. It has the added benefit of 100mg of the antioxidant Bilberry. Also 30mg of magnesium, so take this in to account if you are already taking a magnesium supplement. The capsules are easy to swallow with no after taste. BioCare will be my daily C from now on. Update: Just received my new order of this item and it is in now in a brown glass bottle. Which I prefer to the plastic tub. Having compared the label to my last order, 2 ingredients have been omitted. Potato maltodrextrin and citric acid are no longer listed. This seems like a good thing to me. the less ingredients the better. The Vitamin C, magnesium and bilberry doses remain the same. Here's hoping the efficacy and quality are the same too.

In my opinion these are the finest vitamin c supplements around. Previously I had tried supplement that were either very acidic and caused me heartburn or were very large and difficult to swallow. I take a multivitamin as well, and just use these to supplement when I am feeling below par or in allergy season as a natural anti histamine.

Very good, if you're coming down with a cold, take two of these 3 times a day for several days and it won't develop. We hardly ever have coughs and colds since we discovered this, it really is a miracle cure. I was told to do this by a homeopath. Vitamin C is in any case a great all round pick-me-up.

...and I swear by them. They're in a good absorbable form and I personally take two once a day or as needed.. Over the last twenty years I've tried numerous but recommend these on both effectiveness and price.
