This is a PERFECT product
This is my first Ultra Short Throw projector. I've only had it for a week so can't comment on longevity, but OMG, what a fantastic product. We are using it on a great room wall with the traditional contractor off-white paint that had a mirror and a couple of paintings on it. I figured I'd see whether the image was any good and would either return the unit or maybe upgrade with a projector screen. The image is STUNNING. After a little bit of adjustment on the leveler feet, the keystone, and the focus, every part of the image is crystal clear. If displaying an exact image like a spreadsheet grid there is some deformation of the image due to the imperfections in the drywall, so a true cinephile no doubt wants a fancy, expensive, ALR screen, but for watching Netflix or sports after dinner it is unnoticeable. Before setting it up I had also read about special paint and was thinking I would need to spackle the nail holes from the mirror and paintings and repaint the wall but that's completely unnecessary. There were comments about the sound quality being mediocre, but the sound quality of the built in speakers is great, although I am not using them (see below). One thing that I hadn't anticipated is that this isn't merely a large TV, it turns watching into a fully immersive experience. Watching sports it feels like you're courtside. A few notes. I wasn't sure if I would return it because I was skeptical of the picture quality. So, the former 80" TV is on the opposite wall. It is mounted above an AV "cabinet." The whole setup includes a Denon receiver and Klipsch surround sound speakers. I had originally thought that I would mount the projector on some sort of table or stand, but to maximize the image size it is on the floor so that the bottom of the image is just above the outlets and the top of the image is an inch below the 10' ceiling. The point is that to maximize the image size there is no good way to have equipment in any sort of normal AV cabinet, so it either needs to be somewhere away from the unit or on the floor. This also means that you need to have some agility to adjust the levelers because they are on the floor. I also feel like one would need to build some sort of fence around the unit if there were infants or toddlers around. In a greenfield install things might be easier, but I left the receiver where it was so now have an Amazon Fire TV cube on the floor next to the Hisense, then a 50' digital optical cable running to the receiver, then had to switch front and rear speakers to use the wires running from the Denon to the rear speakers to become the front speakers. I'm not sure what to do about the center speaker. I had thought there was a way to use the Hisense built-in speakers as the center speaker but that may have been for a competing product as I don't see that option in the audio set-up. The only thing that is not intuitive is that some options are accessible through "settings," but others (like keystone) are only accessible through the "menu" button on the remote. I have no experience with the competition, so don't know if this is worse, the same, or better. All I know is that it is a fantastic product. Another reviewer wrote about a rainbow effect. I had to Google that to see what it was, and now knowing what it is I haven't experienced it. Lastly, my girlfriend remarked that it is a lot to spend on a TV. That is true. HOWEVER, assuming a ten year life, the cost works out to roughly a couple of dollars per day. Given that it's our entertainment most evenings after dinner, this is roughly on par with, say, half of a Starbucks coffee every day and per week, less than a glass of wine or cocktail on a Saturday night out.

Love it, you won't regret!
You need this, quality is amazing. Even without screen, very bright, worth the money, sound quality is good and color, omg the colors looks like are coming out of the screen, not heavy, very portable and easy to adjust.

Excellent projector!!
Excellent projector Iโm using it for gaming with an Xbox, a gaming PC and a PlayStation 5. Itโs tremendous for all applications. Also streaming with an Apple TV 4K through an Onkyo receiver I HIGHLY recommend this projector.

Good quality, but the user experience could be improved.
Overall great product! The projection quality is amazing. My only complaints are regarding the slight rainbow effect and the lack of automatic keystone. While there is an automatic keystone feature, its functionality is poor and requires users to take a photo on their phone and upload it to a website hosted by the device. This process is inefficient and, in my opinion, provides a poor user experience. I also found it difficult to get this feature to work.

Feature-Packed 4K Laser Projector That Delivers Great Value and Stunning Visuals
**Review: Hisense Laser Cinema PL2 The Hisense Laser Cinema PL2 is a feature-rich 4K ultra-short throw projector that delivers excellent value for money. With X-Fusion laser technology, Pure Colour, HDR10+, Dolby Vision & Atmos, and support for 3D and Filmmaker Mode, it brings a true cinematic experience right into your living room. The 2700 lumens brightness and 3000:1 native contrast ratio provide vibrant, sharp visuals even in brighter environments, while the wide projection range (80"โ150") makes it versatile for different room sizes. Setup requires some patience, especially when adjusting the image to fit your screen perfectlyโbut once dialed in, it stays consistent. While auto screen size calibration or a slide-in/out mechanism would be a great future addition, the current setup still offers great flexibility. With its solid build quality, premium features, and high-end performance at a competitive price, the PL2 stands out as a smart investment for home cinema enthusiasts.

It's a No Go for Hisense PX3-PRO Ultra Short Throw Projector
Thought this would be the best short throw projector since time immemorial, but unfortunately it was not! Used the projector for watching no more than 24 hours of movies since installing it in December (it is now January, a month or so later), and soon saw a 3-4" high discoloration across the bottom of the screen. The degree of discoloration depends on the colors of the picture, with lighter scenes showing more discoloration, almost like a rainbow effect. I am attaching 3 photos to display the lack of color quality at the bottom of the screen. This is very distracting and should not be happening with a brand new projector that costs thousands of dollars! Tried working with Hisense customer support, and the upshot was that they would only send a replacement projector that was refurbished, not a brand new replacement. We don't want a refurbished projector that may have other problems introduced when the machine was opened up for servicing--certainly not when we paid so much for this new supposedly highest quality short throw laser projector. After many communications with Hisense, we made the decision to return the projector because they would not send a new projector to replace this defective one. This projector is expensive, so we can only hope that Amazon will help us to ensure that we are fully refunded for the cost of this expensive but unfortunately poor quality projector.

Great for that home theatre experience
Imagine a cinema experience in your living room. This is my second ultra short-throw - and I'll never go back to a screen. The 4K resolution pops, and the brightness, contrast and saturation are improved - even the black levels! Great price as well! Highly recommend!

Hisense PT1
Great projector and definitely a bright 2500 certified lumens. I would have given 5 stars for the purchase if it came with the solar remote control or batteries that weren't dead. It was a little bit of work getting it lined up to my 100 inch screen. Having mentioned that it was a good buy, highly recommend it for the price.

wow
Exceeded my expectations, at 150" this projector on power saving mode is so much brighter, clearer and colors more vivid than my Epson 5040ub bulb projector at 120" on high power. Projecting on to a flat pure white painted wall. Even in daylight, the picture is very good. Must look amazing on a proper ust screen, maybe one day I'll get one.
