Did the trick
I was having to lean forward with how the bike came but this saved my palms. I don't think there were instructions if I remember right but it is pretty straight forward just slap it on where your handlebars were then put handlebars on new bar. Easy peasy.

Just an inch made a big difference to my back!
It was too big around to fit on my blue tandem bike, but it did fit on my black bike. You can see from the photo that I only gained about an inch-and-a-half, but my back feels much better, being more upright and not hunched over.

Well made, does the job, toss those bolts!
Arrived overnight! The piece is simple, well constructed and came with all the required parts. In regards to those parts, the two M6 bolts (look like 15 mm long) are too short and strip right away, so toss them and get ones that clear the end. I used a 25 and 30 mm M6 bolts I had on hand. These secured nicely. No instructions come with it. If you have not taken a stem apart, be careful as it may come apart and pieces will scatter leaving you no idea where they go if the top stem piece that holds the handlebars secures the stem in the neck (the stem being the single post that comes out of the top of the forks and goes through the neck to the handlebars). The extra metal rings of 5 and 10mm width are to immobilize the stem between the bottom bearing at the bottom of the fork, and the top of the fork, using the handlebar top piece or some other securing ring, to keep it tight. Because the top stem piece that takes the handlebars acts as the securing part of the entire fork system on my MTB, when you remove it, the entire fork will fall out and the bushings and bearings will come off leaving you flummoxed. I dismount the tire, set the front fork down on the concrete, remove the stem top piece, use rings to set the height of the extender piece (you want BOTH of the tightening bolts on the extender to be over the top of the fork stem so when tightened they BOTH clamp down on it). Position it with the combination of rings that works, you may not need all of them. Securing those bolts on the extender will secure the fork stem in the neck and you are safe to lift if necessary. I used the remaining rings between the top of the extension and the bottom of the handle bar top piece just because, I guess to make is doubly secure, but its not necessary; the bottom of the extender secured the top bearing in the neck. No need to spend a lot of money, this low priced one is just fine. Mine is on my FSX 1.0 Gravity MTB. Made it far more comfortable. I trail ride, no timber bashing, so a higher CG is fine for me. Hope this helps!

2 out of 3 bolts broke
I guess “you get what you pay for” is the case. During the installation two out of the 3 bolts broke. Well, in all fairness only one bolt “broke” while I was tightening it, the head bolt simply stripped and required me to drill it out to get the cheap worthless item back off of my bike. I’m not endorsing the 3rd bolt though either, because at that point I didn’t even try to tighten it because I knew this item was going to be another trip to Kohl’s so I could return it. I wouldn’t recommend this item to anyone and the fact that they have so many good reviews is bewildering to me. The hardware is legitimately the lowest quality I have ever seen, not to mention that securing the handlebars to the bike is a point that you want to have the utmost confidence in to boot. I feel like they owe me more than a refund for the time and effort it took to “fix” my bike (read…put it back in the original configuration). How are sellers like this even allowed on Amazon? Terrible, I would give zero stars if that was an option.

Fit and finish of seat covers amd handlebar risers
Very good quality on the seat covers and the gel feels very good as expected. The risers are also very good aluminum anodized quality and fit perfect as described. Siting position now is lot more comfortable and will promote longer rides. Both items highly recommended.

perfect to raise the handlebars a few inches
no instructions, but i did figure it out. pretty easy to put on to add a few inches of height to the handles, just make sure your brake cables have enough slack. also the blue color is REALLY nice!

Research, Research, and. Find the one that fits your brand of bike1
Product is built strong, the flaws are as followed not enough spacers for the riser and the handle bar riser is the wrong size, I measured twice before ordering and delivered on time but not the right one.
