I had a little trouble setting this up at first, but after spending about an hour working through the balancing steps and app setup, it became much easier to operate. It handles heavier phones effortlessly while keeping your footage perfectly level. I would highly recommend this stabilizer to anyone wanting pro-level video stability on a budget.

I’ve been making more digital content lately for my social media. And while it is okay not to have a gimbal, this brand was a great addition to my phone! It’s easy to set up that only a few button clicks and it’s ready. It also has a face tracking feature that just focuses on what is needed while using the app. Overall, it’s been very durable, never gave me problems with connection, and the camera app it comes with creates smooth and crisp images and videos. It comes with a pouch but very handy should you wish to carry it anywhere. Best bang for my buck!

I’m very happy with this gimbal stabilizer. The build quality is excellent, and it feels sturdy and well-made. The stabilization works incredibly well, even while walking or recording moving subjects. My videos look much smoother and more professional. The battery life is impressive, and setup was quick and easy. The tracking feature and different shooting modes work great, making it perfect for creating content, traveling, or everyday filming. Overall, this is an excellent product that delivers exactly what it promises. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve the quality of their smartphone videos.

I should’ve kept it! I gave it four stars because it said it had AI tracking native 66 foot range, I would’ve been happy if it was 20 feet But for the other three in its category, it surpasses them by far. The one amazing thing it has is a LCD stream remote, you can see what the device is so you never need to go check anything that device for that Money with the remote where you can see from the vantage point of your phone is amazing, the tracking works great for all the regular stuff, lacking in the AI department they should ease off on the advertisement for that and focus on the fact it has above everything else a better runtime a better build quality and his tracking system works great for humans just not artificial objects, that’s why I got it but looking back there isn’t anything better out there not for several hundred more and it’s the only one again with a remote with a screen so your phone can be in any position. You never need to look at your phone attached to the device and it will track you for quite some distance. Just not an object, it’s awesome. I would’ve kept it if I could have! Better than the only three other that measured up to it, that remote feature everything adjustable with the screen, a touchscreen was incredible, thinking about purchasing.

I purchased the Hohem iSteady X3 SE Gimbal Stabilizer for my iPhone with the expectation that it would provide reliable stabilization and be backed by a solid warranty. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. After a relatively short period of use, the gimbal’s motors began to fail and no longer operated as they should. Since the product was still within the warranty period, I contacted Hohem customer support expecting a straightforward warranty resolution. Instead, I was told that I would need to pay the shipping costs to send the defective unit back to them, and in return they would replace it with a demo unit. While I understand that warranty replacements are not always brand-new products, I expected at least a properly refurbished replacement rather than a used demonstration model. The product itself worked reasonably well when it was functioning properly, but a warranty is only as good as the company’s willingness to stand behind its products. Being asked to pay out of pocket to return a defective item under warranty and then receiving a demo unit as the replacement left me feeling undervalued as a customer. Based on my experience, I would think twice before purchasing another Hohem product. The next time I’m in the market for a smartphone gimbal, I’ll spend the extra money on a brand with a stronger reputation for quality and customer support. A company’s response when something goes wrong is just as important as the product itself, and unfortunately Hohem fell short of my expectations.

Great product and great customer service! The app is easy to use and set up, the remote is very responsive, and the device itself generally works great. When I did recently run into an issue where it stopped turning on properly, I called Hohem's customer service; they picked up quickly, diagnosed the issue easily, and when we determined it could not be fixed on my end, promptly sent me a replacement. I very much appreciated them easily honoring the warranty without trying to find the "gotcha" reason it was somehow exempt from warranty coverage, like you often run into. They even worked with me to get my replacement sooner so that I would have it for the project I was currently working on. It was something they didn't have to do, and I think it really shows they care about their customers and providing great customer service. Overall, the product works great, and when problems did arise, they quickly, easily, and kindly did all they could to make it right!

Pretty cool, but with some real flaws. Pros: Build seems solid enough, not luxury per se, but not horribly cheap feeling. The variety of modes gives a lot of handy options for different uses of the stabilizer. Cons: The detachable remote is neat, but the record button (as well as the tracking feature) only works in the Hohem app, which is a shame because the app reeks of cheap Chinese slop. Want to record 4k 60fps ProRes footage or charge your phone while using the gimbal as even just a tripod? Good luck. USB cables impact the weight enough to throw the whole balance of the gimbal off, whereupon it starts beeping and freaking out. I would have an issue while holding it where the weight of my phone caused it the movable part of the phone holder (used for stabilization) to fall backwards, making me have to pop it back up. This happens quite frequently, and is very frustrating. I think the iPhone 15 pro max is too big/heavy for this phone. Even when removing my case (basically a necessity), it still doesn’t look like my phone gets as snug in the grip as it should. I have hardly used it after the first two weeks because these issues are just annoying enough to sour the whole experience, and if I’d thought to do so before, I probably would have returned it. Never had a gimbal before, so I’m not sure if these are common issues or not, but yeah, this thing did not live up to my expectations.

I love it now my shots are more stable, I can use it to record videos with the cell phone walking or without an assistant and the difference is noticeable, it is light, easy to transport and the remote control is very practical. The battery lasts long enough for my recordings If you love to record this is perfect, you will notice a big difference in your shots

Love the clipe design, better than DJI with the magnet clip. It also doesn't accidentally press your volume or lock buttons, and it moves smoothly, decent battery life
