This item works well. It may take a day to unfold itself completely and look flat. The straps work really well and the plastic that covers my camera is very clear. They also have excellent customer service if indeed you have any issues with the product.

We have two pretty heavy electric bikes, and we often need to transport them to where we can safely ride. I had built a custom wood frame to go into the truck to do it, but when I learned about these tailgate pads, I thought I would give it a try. It turns out it's much easier to load and unload with this than with the thing I spent a lot of time making! There is the added benefit that you can leave it on your truck and it can protect your tailgate when you have a load. It has a plastic window so you can still see out of the backup camera, and you can also raise the flap and make it perfectly clear. The bikes strapped in nicely, and there is some good padding to make sure that your tailgate doesn't get scratched. It fit very well in my 3500 Chevy Silverado. I would highly recommend this product, and think it is a great economical approach.

It does not affect the use of the camera like some of the other brands I have seen.The foam blocks are heavy duty that hold the bike in place, the Velcro straps hold the bike in place. It is very easy to put on and off and can easily be folded and placed in the box when not in use. If it gets dirty it easily wipes off. Really this thing is perfect for protecting your truck from anything you might put in the back that'll sit on the tailgate. Have used it with kayak's, and bikes. Not a single scratch.
