Mattel Disney Collector Ariel The Little Mermaid Doll with Display Stand, Inspired by Disney Movie 35th Anniversary

I love it!

Gorgeous doll at a decent price! I am in love with her dress, long hair and understated makeup with glittery eye detail. Can’t comment on durability because she’s just for show, but her sparkly dress is high quality, thick fabric and the jellyfish-like accents draped around her give a symbolic nod to her fish heritage lol. Also I don’t love her heavy plastic collar so I just took it off (it now looks like she’s creating a splash where she steps :)). I am not a collector - I just love the animated Little Mermaid and this doll is true to the iconic vision of OG Ariel from my childhood. A tip: her hair is heavily gelled, and I don’t love stiff curls, so it helped me to work it just a little loose to make it more natural - an aesthetic choice really.

It’s gorgeous but the face sculpt is very different than the one in the items thumbnail. I kinda hoped it would look exactly like it but I’m not really against this face sculpt it’s lovely either way.

A encomenda chegou antes do prazo, bem embalada. A boneca em si é mais bonita que nas imagens promocionais, material de qualidade e um dos melhores face molds da Ariel até agora na minha opinião. Indico pra quem aprecia colecionar.
