First time user of a grounding mat. I am always looking for new holistic ways to decrease inflammation and improve overall wellness. I have been researching the effects of a grounding mat and thought I would try one. This set appears to be a good quality set. The edges of the mat are bound and not just cut. The company offers three sizes of grounding mats, and this one is their medium size of 23.6" x 15.7" and comes with a long grounding cord and test pen. Not sure about the test pen. When I touched it to the top of the grounding pad, it did light up. There is a one sheet set of minimal instructions and I would have liked to have seen a more detailed set of instructions.I am glad that I read up on some of the risks and people when implants such as pacemakers and even hearing aids should consult a doctor before using. I happen to wear hearing aids, and while I can remove them prior to using the mat, it was something that I hadn't thought about until I read up on proper usage. Essentially, a grounding mat creates an electrical current between your body and the earth. You can get the same benefit from walking barefoot in the grass.There is still a lot of research being conducted on grounding mats. Benefits won't happen overnight, but I have to start somewhere. A real help for grounding and earthing while working at the cimputer

I was checking a grounding at outlets in the house. While at the grounding mats we purchased I pulled the grounding wires from ground in sockets and disconnected the little button from the mat to check the wire. First one showed zero continuity like there was no wire between the ends. I checked the second one and had the same result. I was using a quality multimeter for all tests. When testing wall sockets I was checking grounds between sockets and main ground going to copper pipe that goes to 120' deep water well. Multimeter lit up like Christmas tree bulb at in the house grounds. Absolutely zero with these apparently useless, garbage grounding wires going from the mat to the wall.

I bought this for my mother and it helped her with leg swelling.

Just got it immediately opened, pen indicated all good and and working ……feeling calmer already. Great deal very practical and needed.
