If it wasn't it is now. I use it around the house pets 24/7. Seems fine.

Q: When did the new version come out? How can you tell the difference?

I do not know when the new version came out. The shape of the bottle is different but they do fit in the old plug in. The scent appears to be the same.

Q: how do use it . do you pull all the caps off. and the long one the white one

To refill the warmer, be sure to unplug the device first, and remove the old refill if there was one. Unscrew both caps of the new refill, then insert it into the warmer until you hear a click. The Febreze Team
