Grout Pen Beige Tile Grout Paint Marker Restorer - Wide 15mm Tip (20ml)

I never write reviews, but this product is so amazing I have to take a moment to share. I have tried every product under the sun to clean the grout on my bathroom floors and paid to have it steam cleaned, both to no avail. What should be light beige grout was mostly dark brown over time and looked terrible. I read about these grout pens on a home improvement site and thought I’d give it a try. My bathroom floors look completely restored and clean again! The pens are so easy to use. I was concerned I’d have to tape off all the grout lines but the pens work perfectly on the lines with no need at all to tape off. It couldn’t have been easier and I’m completely happy with the results. If you have dingy looking grout I highly recommend these miracle pens!

This product resolved an uneven and inconsistent color of the grout used in the recent installation of new bathroom tile flooring. The beige color matched closely with the driftwood color grout that was used in the original installation. The contractor had used a rapid drying all-in-one replacement grout which was wrong to use for the new flooring. He should have used a high performance fine aggregated grout (such as Polyblend HP) which was used for our shower tiling (by a different contrator) giving results of a nice even and consistent color throughout the tiling. The application was a bit challenging as the tip of the pen began to fray and split before being able to complete the entire coverage. We resolved by easily pulling the tip out of the pen and using the reverse side of the tip. The application was neat and any overage was easily wiped clean. Drying time is quick. We highly recommend this product.

This worked pretty well for me. It was easy to apply to grout lines and the color was appropriate for my tile. It's a sort of beige color, so if you want white this isn't it. It also won't work with narrow grout lines smaller than about a quarter inch, unless you don't mind wiping off what gets on the tiles. Actually, even with wider grout lines this paint will mark some of the tile because you can't really guide it that accurately all the time. But it's pretty easy to wipe off the unwanted paint marks since it doesn't dry for a minute or two after you apply it. I did have occasional problems with the tip of the applicator falling out of the tube since nothing really holds it down except friction. But you just pop it back in and keep going. Overall, I was pleased with it. It has a few drawbacks but nothing that keeps you from getting your work done.

Amazing. Old grout looks 🆕!

I recently had a travertine paver pool deck and travertine tile covered patio area installed, and the contractor used grout that was WAY too light and it stuck out like a sore thumb. I was so angry! It wasn't the grout color I chose... So, I got online and researched what I could do about it. I bought 6 of these pens and painstakingly filled in every grout line with these AWESOME pens. They're really easy to use and the excess wipes off well, of you do it immediately. If you want to color your grout, this is the bomb!

The first pen I purchased was the wrong color so, I purchased 2 more pens. The color was good. The pen was easy to use and it colored the old grout very well however, they both took a lot of effort to get the paint to the tip and both ran out of paint very quickly. I ordered 3 more pens. The 3rd pen I used had the same problem. The paint wouldn't come out at first and when it did it ran out quickly. I opened yet another pen and when I pushed down the tip to get the paint out, it gushed just a bit. This pen glided over the grout with ease and it covered my remaining grout with ease. It appears that 3 out of the 5 (correct color) pens I purchased were old and were quite dry. I should have only needed 2 or 3 pens to cover my area instead of the 4 I used. I could have re-grouted for less but, I was looking for an easier way to accomplish the same thing. If you have good working pens, I highly recommend using this method to change the color of your grout if you have a small area. I gave it a 3 star rating only because some of the pens were dry. I am very disappointed about that but, I don't know how you avoid it. Hope this helps.

I’m here because my landlord wasn’t receptive to the idea of having someone come in to renew the grout in the bathroom prior to me moving in. After going over what DIY options I had, I felt this was the by far the cheapest and least labor intensive method for me (Cost = $9 US / Total Labor = 2.5 hours, including prep cleaning). I read some of the other reviews and found them to be helpful when deciding upon the single pen or the double pack. For my small bathroom, one pen did it all in one generous coat. Although I did go over some spots more after the first coat to touch those up. I used almost every drop of paint in the pen at the point though. I initially had difficulty choosing a color because I felt that the beige color was just too dark based on the color of the pen cap in the product photos. However, information gathered from previous reviews showed that the actual color was far lighter than the cap color, so I went for it. You can see in the before photo that my grout was quite bad in some places. And while the condition of the grout in those places is still compromised, it looks far better than it did. And for $9, I feel like it was the best ROI, I’ve gotten all year, hahaha. In conclusion and based on what this product is intended for l, considering and its ease of use and efficacy, I got to give up 5 stars. It did exactly what it was supposed to do and the results speak for themselves. I’ll have to monitor its durability over some time and update this review as needed. But so far, I’m pleased.

Thought I ordered too dark a color but it worked out well. What a difference something so simple makes bathroom looks so refreshed. Easy to use and forgiving.

En mi caso funcionó a la perfección y el suelo del baño ha quedado como nuevo. Ahora falta ver su duración. Adjunto fotos del antes y el después. En cualquier caso, lo recomiendo.

It did the job i wanted it too

I am so happy with the results. The pen is super easy to use and lasts quite well. I wasn’t expecting to see such great results! 10/10 would buy again and recommend to others! The pictures speak for themselves.
