The brush has two sides, a softer bristle, and a firmer one. Generally the soft side is just what you need, but the firmer one works well too. The length is just right to reach all your back. The handle has a few grips to help hold on to the brush with either hand. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. Rinse the bristles after use, then hang or put on a shelf to dry.

This brush has a long wooden handle. It's long enough to reach every spot on my back that needs a scrub, without having to contort myself much at all. That's helpful, now that I've gotten to an age where contorting myself the wrong way (even in the shower) can make for an unpleasant start to the day.The brush has two sides: one with soft bristles, and one with firm bristles. The firm-side bristles are not so stiff that they would hurt or visibly scratch my skin. The bristles on the firm side are just stiff enough that I can be assured that exfoliation is taking place while I scrub. The soft side of the brush has a pleasing feel to it, and is good for spreading soap.The handle of the brush has small rubber grips on it in a couple places. Those definitely helped keep a grip on the handle in a soapy environment.One bonus feature that I hadn't expected is that this brush includes a hook that one could stick to one's shower wall. The hook includes a self-adhesive pad. For my own purposes, the loop of string on the handle was enough, because I already have a hook in the shower.I believe this brush was an excellent value, and definitely makes for a good "scrub-a-dub in the tub" experience.

Does the job. I use the coarse side over the soft. Could be abrasive to some, especially those with sensitive skin or skin conditions.For all others, it does the job at a decent price. Comes with this sticky hanger which actually holds up the item in wet and humid conditions. The handle is a good length. The design is easy to hold. Give it a shot.

One side of the brush has softer bristles, the other side of the brush has tougher bristles so it is very functional. I got it for my father he says the brush is very effective for reaching his legs and back and he uses it every day.
