Easy to read, the display can rotate 90° in any direction so you can read it no matter how it’s stuck in the food. It’s a little bit slower to read temps than some others I’ve used but it does get there if you give it a few seconds. It has a stainless steel pin and bright orange top, easy to find, easy to use, easy to clean.

Literally haven't reviewed a product in YEARS, but I love this so much, here goes: I received a ThermoPop2 as a gift, and it's been awesome: a real game changer for my cooking! Especially meat, but anything where you want a quick and very accurate temperature reading quickly. I had 2 other meat thermometers but one was an inconvenient size (too big) and one wasn't easy to read. The ThermoPop2 is compact & a very easy size to use, and I can just stick it in the thickest and the thinnest parts of any roast etc. and know instantly how cooked it is. It's so easy, I now use it all the time, and all my meat and poultry are much tastier when they aren't dried out! (BTW, beef only needs to get to 145 degrees, but poultry to 165; who knew?!). I liked it so much, when I FOOLISHLY used the end of it as a tool to pry something out and bent the tip, breaking it, I missed it so much I bought myself another right away. They are very tough if you don't idiotically use one as an awl !

These work great. Lost my first so bought a second without hesitation. Personally, I don’t see the need to pay more for the highest end thermoworks thermometer since this one is great, and plenty fast.
