I've had it for a short while now, and it has already made a noticeable difference in my home's air quality, exceeding my expectations! The design. SwitchBot really nailed it. It's sleek, modern, and blends seamlessly into my decor. It's not just another clunky appliance; it actually looks good in the room, which is a huge plus. The ambient lighting feature is a fantastic touch, adding a lovely, subtle glow and even acting as a quick visual indicator for air quality – brilliant! But beyond the aesthetics, the performance is where this air purifier truly shines. I've been amazed at how quickly it tackles odors and airborne particles. Whether it's post-cooking smells, general stuffiness, or just the feeling of stale air, the air feels noticeably fresher and cleaner in a remarkably short amount of time. The multi-layer filtration system, including the HEPA filter, clearly does an excellent job of capturing everything from dust and pollen to general allergens. The smart features are incredibly convenient. Being able to control it via the SwitchBot app on my tablet is a game-changer. I love being able to monitor the air quality, adjust fan speeds, set schedules, and even activate specific modes (like Sleep mode, which is impressively quiet!) without having to get up. The video shows in running on its highest setting, which it rarely needs to do. So good we purchased a second one. Connected to the internet and available in Apple Home using Matter. It has stand alone options in the app t schedule working times which is great in the bedroom to have the room clear in the evening and turn off in the morning without having to worry about turning it on and off at given times. The fan is powerful and will help make a difference in the air quality in just a few minutes. Practically silent once the air quality is at a good level, This is ideal for a bedroom and as for me as an allergy sufferer it makes all the difference overnight and can sit next to a bed as a perfect sized bedside table with a light. Granted its a little awkward to use the light effectively as it can only be turned on and off via the Switchbot app but auto will turn it off when the room is dark if left in Auto mode The added option to put this in Smart homes makes this a perfect choice and the one I have had for several months has no blinked once and remained reliable and effective.

This SwitchBot Air Purifier is £239.99 with a £44 off voucher available at the time of this review and I feel that this is a very good item if you have pet's in the house which this seems to be aimed at. This has an overall very well thought out design with added functions which makes this easier to fit into a home rather than just being sat there as an eye sore and people noticing it quite clearly. Firstly with the added designs I really like the fact it has a built in cat bed on the top which is waterproof, the pet mode which keeps them calm as well as chew proof wire and safety grill you can rest assured it is safe for pet's to be around as well as children with the added child lock. This works very well if you have any allergies or breathing trouble like asthma and you can notice the difference in the air. I like that this has a light display with different colours which not only gives the room a cosy atmosphere but let's you know the quality of the air with each colour it displays. This works with the app or alexa and is easy to use and understand, when working this is not too intrusive with the sound and seems to fit into your home and daily life without any loud noises. Overall I think yes this is an expensive buy but well worth it for all of the benefit's this will give you, much better air quality whilst dragging in all of the nasty allergens/odours etc. If you are looking for something to help you then I would happily recommend this one.

awesome bit of kit, easy to setup, clean and maintain, on auto its generally quiet, it ramps up as it should whenever im smoking or cooking etc, it even kicked in once when i ripped a particularly nasty fart (which it cleared mercifully quickly) initially i had some issues with it not working properly with the schedule i set but after a firmware update it seems to be working perfectly. only slight downside is when its running at full power it can be a little loud

Very good does what specs say,We have noticed the room less dusty and fresher. And you hardly hear it running in normal use. App is quite informative.

I have tried many air purifier and sent them back. This however ticks all the boxes. On auto it kicks in when needed. Where the others either stayed on poor air quality or great air quality do I felt this should not be the case. I strongly recommend this air purifier. Ps I also have a long haired GSD and I can set the purifier on pet mode if needed.

Its a terrific bit of kit. My absolute favourite feature is the Auto Mode—it just adjusts the fan speed based on the air quality in real-time, so I never have to guess what setting to use. The built-in ambient light is a nice touch, great for creating a cozy vibe at night when watching TV. Any mess or dust that collects on the 1st filter can be easliy vacuumed thanks to the open, accessible design. My dogs dandor seems to have been reduced by over 95%!!! The only negative is that I didn't buy the table part that you can get as an accessory but that's on me, not switchbot. You can't currently buy them separately yet, so be careful. SwitchBot can you sell me or send me one please? It's so good, I may buy a few more for other rooms.

Surprisingly high quality—and much larger than I expected. The moment I start cooking, it quietly comes to life on its own, and it’s almost graceful how it senses particulate matter drifting from across the room, despite my hood fan roaring at full blast. The 4000-hour HEPA-13 hospital-grade filter truly makes all the difference. For the $140 I paid, the value is outstanding. The unit is whisper-quiet on low and blends seamlessly into the background—even at higher speeds it’s barely more noticeable than my regular HVAC system. The only thing that breaks the magic is the colored light indicator. With so few LEDs, the colors tend to blend together, making it hard to tell exactly where the air quality stands. I’d love to see a future version with clearer indicators—or even a gentle voice announcement for real-time updates. There’s also a bit of a wait when opening the app; it takes around 30–40 seconds to sync, which can test your patience. Even with those minor flaws, its Matter support is a major plus. It fits seamlessly into a future-ready smart home and has been a surprisingly impressive addition to mine

Ho acquistato il Purificatore d'Aria SwitchBot per migliorare la qualità dell'aria in casa. Avendo un neonato in casa, pongo massima attenzione all'aria che respira. Ho atteso appositamente circa due settimane prima di recensire il prodotto così da averne un quadro completo e quanto più realistico possibile. In generale posso dire che è un oggetto ben progettato, che assolve al suo scopo in maniera smart e senza risultare mai invasivo, ne esteticamente nè acusticamente. Vado nel dettaglio cercando di toccare tutti i punti che mi hanno colpito. - Qualità dell'aria e filtro HEPA Il purificatore funziona molto bene nel rimuovere polvere, polline e odori. Meno per quanto riguarda il monossido di carbonio, ma è normale non essendo quella la sua funzione. Il filtro HEPA fa davvero la differenza: ho notato un netto miglioramento nell’aria di casa, misurandolo anche con apposito device, soprattutto in stanze più chiuse o poco ventilate. Anche gli odori della cucina si riducono sensibilmente. - Copertura e prestazioni Con una capacità di CADR di 400 m3/h, è perfetto per stanze di medie e grandi dimensioni. In realtà funziona perfettamente anche per una intera casa di circa 80 m2. Io lo utilizzo in un soggiorno di 27 mq, e in meno di 30 minuti l’aria è visibilmente più pulita. Ovviamente è ancora piu efficace in camere da letto o in ambienti più piccoli. La modalità "Animali" sembra davvero studiata per chi ha cani o gatti: mantiene costante il filtraggio di peli e allergeni, testato in un week end in cui è venuto a trovarci il nostro amico a quattro zampe :) - Silenziosità e modalità notte La modalità sonno è estremamente silenziosa, praticamente impercettibile. Con un livello di rumore di soli 20 dB, si può tranquillamente lasciarlo acceso di notte senza disturbare il sonno. Un grande vantaggio rispetto ad altri modelli più rumorosi. Personalmente consiglio la modalità auto che, in caso di aria non eccessivamente sporca, tiene la ventilazione ad 1 e risulta ancora impercettibile pur non in modalità notte. - App e luce notturna L’app è intuitiva e permette di controllare tutte le funzioni a distanza, come regolare le modalità o monitorare lo stato del filtro, nonchè la qualità dell'aria che si respira. La luce notturna è un tocco carino: non è invadente, crea un’atmosfera rilassante ed è possibile personalizzare il colore e l'intensità oltre che selezionare colori che indichino anche lo stato dell'aria. Per chi non la gradisce, è anche facilmente disattivabile. - Design e consumi Dal punto di vista estetico, è elegante e si integra bene nell’arredamento moderno con il solito bianco switchbot. Inoltre, il consumo energetico è contenuto, quindi può essere lasciato acceso a lungo senza pesare troppo sulla bolletta. Nel mio caso è perennemente acceso per tutelare mio figlio, ma in futuro penso di programmare le accensioni ogni 4-5 ore. - Conclusioni È un prodotto versatile, perfetto sia per chi ha neonati in casa che per gli amanti dei piccoli animali domestici. Garantisce aria pulita, silenziosità e design moderno. Consuma poco e dà un tocco tech alla casa senza risultare invasivo. Il costo potrebbe risultare un pò altino ma la qualità è elevatissima ed è spesso in offerta, quindi ha un eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo rispetto ai competitor.

I bought this SwitchBot Air Purifier (the CADR 400m³/h model) back in March 2025, right when the seasonal allergies were starting to kick in, and I’ve been running it almost non-stop since then. After 8 months of daily use, I can confidently say this is one of the best smart home purchases I’ve made. Why I love it: Real-World Performance: My living area is open concept and fairly large (easily 70-80㎡), and this unit handles it with ease. The moment I burn toast or the dog tears around the room shedding fur, the Auto mode senses the change and kicks in fast. I've noticed a significant reduction in dust and pet dander floating around, which is the main reason I bought it. The Sleep Mode is Truly Quiet: I keep it near my bedroom door, and on Sleep Mode, it is practically silent (I think SwitchBot says 20dB, and I believe it). I’m a light sleeper, and this thing never bothers me. The night light feature is also great—it’s customizable, but I often leave it on the soft amber setting for a perfect low glow. App Control: The Wi-Fi control is responsive. It’s handy to be able to check the air quality score or ramp up the fan speed from my couch without having to get up. The filter life tracking in the app is also really convenient for maintenance. The One Honest Caveat: When this purifier is running at its maximum speed (Fan Level 3), it moves a ton of air, but it is noticeably loud. It sounds like a powerful box fan. It’s not terrible, but if you need whisper-quiet purification for a large space, you’ll want to run it on high before you enter the room and then switch it back to Auto or Sleep mode. Bottom Line: Eight months in, the SwitchBot Air Purifier has been durable, reliable, and genuinely effective at making my home air cleaner and fresher. It’s a solid investment for anyone dealing with pets, allergies, or just wanting a healthier environment. Highly recommended!

Ich nutze den SwitchBot Luftreiniger jetzt seit einigen Tagen und bin insgesamt wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Größe finde ich genau richtig – weder zu groß noch zu klein. Er lässt sich problemlos im Wohnzimmer oder Schlafzimmer platzieren, ohne störend zu wirken, und das Design wirkt modern und unauffällig zugleich. Die Anleitung sehr übersichtlich gestaltet und erklärt die ersten Schritte sehr gut. Die Einrichtung war dadurch schnell erledigt und auch für weniger technikaffine Personen gut nachvollziehbar. Die Verbindung mit der SwitchBot App hat – wie man es von SwitchBot eigentlich gewohnt ist – ohne Probleme funktioniert. Gerät erkannt, verbunden und direkt einsatzbereit. Besonders wichtig war für mich die Matter-Integration für Apple Home. Nach dem Firmware-Update ließ sich der Luftreiniger problemlos in Apple Home einbinden. Seitdem funktioniert die Steuerung sowohl über die SwitchBot App als auch über Apple Home absolut zuverlässig. Die App selbst ist sehr übersichtlich aufgebaut. Alle wichtigen Funktionen sind schnell erreichbar und logisch angeordnet. Licht, Lüftergeschwindigkeit und Zeitpläne lassen sich einfach einstellen und automatisieren. Auch die Steuerung über Apple Home funktioniert schnell und zuverlässig. Dadurch vermisse ich eine klassische Fernbedienung eigentlich kaum, auch wenn sie in manchen Situationen natürlich praktisch gewesen wäre. Positiv finde ich außerdem, dass der Luftreiniger angenehm leise arbeitet, besonders im Schlafmodus. Insgesamt kann ich den Kauf definitiv empfehlen – besonders für den Preis bekommt man hier einen modernen Luftreiniger mit sehr guter Smart-Home-Anbindung und einfacher Bedienung.

This is the best air purifier I've ever purchased. I have had it for a year now. I live in California and we had really bad fires so bad that I could not leave my house with my windows closed and my doors closed I had excellent air quality. The lights do change to show you the quality of the air which is really helpful because it lets you know what you use that affects your air quality. On 4th of July when I came home the light was bright red which means that the air was really bad I closed up my house I turned on my oscillating fans turned on this air purifier on high and within 10 minutes it went from being red to blue. Blue is the best air quality. I am a severe asthmatic and my asthma is triggered by a lot of things so having a good air purifier is super important. I didn't want to give a review on this until I had used it for a long time to make sure that it was as good as it says it is. I would give it more than five stars if I could. The air purifier is wrapped in a material that stays together with velcro around it that catches hair and dust that has to be cleaned every two weeks. I actually like that feature it helps the longevity of the actual filter and HEPA filter.
