Slight scent, smooth skin and a reasonable price tag
First, can we talk about how you get 2 bottles with this? A full size (a respectable 1.01 ounces) and a smaller "travel" size (coming in at 0.33 oz) are both included, making this a good amount of product for the price. That's a pleasant surprise in today's age of expensive skincare in tiny containers, even if it doesn't end up giving you more than many brands do to start with. If nothing else, you have a separate bottle for travel this way.The bottles are plastic instead of glass as well, making them more travel-safe. I would have preferred glass (even though my clumsy self dropped the bottle as I was picking it up to try it out), but it's not a big deal. The formula is vegan and safe for sensitive skin, both selling points for me. This texture is a thick gel with a slightly opaque whitish color and a mild smell of citrus and something vaguely herbal that I don't mind, even though I don't like scented skincare. The scent lingers faintly for quite a while, but I stop noticing it pretty quickly. The serum does leave a sticky film, but it absorbs fairly quickly, so it's not a problem for me.Because this contains LHA (a chemical exfoliator) as well as vitamin C, both of which can cause tingling, irritation, and sensitivity to sunlight, I'd recommend patch testing this first. I had no reaction on my sensitive skin, not even a slight tingle like I normally get from vitamin C creams and acid exfoliators. It's too early to tell if this will truly eliminate the slight melasma I have at the top of my cheekbones or the uneven texture across my cheeks and forehead, but using it, my skin feels soft and smooth and looks more radiant in the time I've been testing it out.Verdict: I would consider buying another bottle (or I guess I should say set). Is it amazing? No, but it's perfectly fine, and I can't really complain about it. It's good stuff; I'm just not sure if I need it in my skincare routine. The value is good (you get about the same amount as most brands of serums' "full size" containers split between the larger and smaller bottles, but it's still inexpensive in comparison to many brands and has similar effectiveness). It's a simple addition to your skincare routine to get fresher, brighter-looking skin without complicated ingredients.

Brightening Serum
This vitamin c serum absorbs nicely and leaves my skin feeling refreshed! I love the formulation of this serum as it includes ingredients such as niacinamide. This makes it both brightening and hydrating! It does have a light citrus fragrance to it. Perfect overall for anyone wanting to give K-beauty skincare a try :)

Affordable clean beauty with excellent ingredients
At this point I have used several skin care products from this brand and have always been impressed, so I wasted no time in ordering this Deep Toning Glass Skin Serum Set by be*wants. Both bottles come boxed with a security seal, and both use a dropper top for dispensing the liquid. The bottles are colored plastic to keep light away from the serum, which is great because vitamin C is known to be unstable, but I do wish they had used glass bottles. The serum is a little bit milky in color and lightweight, but not watery. This formulation has no added perfume, but the serum does have a lovely scent of citrus combined with floral. I am guessing that is coming from the bergamot and geranium oils in it. The scent of it is lovely to me, so I have enjoyed using it these past few days. It glides on easily and absorbs fairly quickly. If spread thinly, I did not notice any residue on the skin, but when I added a bit more, it did leave a slightly tacky finish. So far, my skin seems to love it, and my complexion does appear to be a bit more "alive". It's too soon to notice any anti aging benefits, but given the formulation, I do believe that more profound results could be seen after continued use.I am slightly confused why they are showcasing the glutathione(a tripeptide) when there is only .01% of it in the formulation, but it is a fantastic ingredient and very powerful, so perhaps more is not needed (?). Anyway, glutathione is known as a master antioxidant, because it is so effective at fighting off free radicals and keeping them from damaging the skin. The other key active in this serum is niacinamide, which comprises five percent of the formulation. Niacinamide is derived from vitamin B3, and provides a bevy of benefits to the skin- it can brighten and even out the skin tone, boost collagen production for morefirming and elasticity, reduce inflammation and redness, and provides excellent support for the skin barrier. It is a big player in the glass skin obsession, because it helps to tighten and firm the skin around the pores, thereby making them less visible. There are several other wonderful ingredients that provide antioxidant help, along with plenty of humectants (moisture gatherers) like sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, glycols and kelp.Even more impressive is how clean the formulation is, it contains nothing controversial or potentially harmful to humans. No sulfates, parabens, silicones, PEGs or any other ethoxylated ingredients. I am so glad to have discovered this product, and plan to continue using it daily. Currently this serum is selling for $24.99 for the 2 bottles and I think that is a fantastic bargain for the quality of the formulation.Highly recommendedMade in Korea
