I switch from aluminum oxide to these belts, and holy cow do they last longer. Great value and longevity.

They are TRUE Ceramic belts & Hold up as well as most of the Top priced brands at a fraction of the cost !! I buy the Brand each time I make a Belt purchase for my 2"x72" belt Grinder/Sanders that I built several years ago !! They are Very Dependable & have a Long life span even if you're "Hogging" cut's like i do as long as you don't get them overly hot & clean them with one of the Rubber eraser bars on a regular interval basis !!! Buy them you’ll be Happy you did !!

These are good for grinding steel and they last a reasonable amount of time.

1"x42" Belts are getting hard to find lately, and these did the trick. I probably bought more than I should have, but I hate being in the middle of a project and run out of supplies. For those not familiar with ceramic coatings, they keep the sandpaper from getting clogged up MUCH longer than "normal" sandpaper with sand on them. They also stay sharper longer.
