fanxiang External SSD USB Stick 512GB Up to 2050MB/s Fast External SSD USB C Drive 2-in-1 Dual Flash Drive Type C+ USB A 3.2 Gen2 Solid State Drive for iPhone 15/Android/Tablet/PC/Mac - FF951

I’m always wary about the speeds claimed by manufacturers and never have any expectations of reaching the speed claimed. That said this USB Drive is the fastest I have had to date. I recently reviewed a Fikwot 256GB USB Drive and the write speed was a lot slower than ones I bought in 2021, half the speed, in fact. I recently bought a Patriot Rage 250GB and was impressed by the write speed which was 4x the Fikwot. The fanxiang writes twice as fast as the new Patriot Rage. I’m deliberately not quoting the write speeds I am getting because so many reviews claim massively varying speeds but, as we all know, write speeds are heavily dependent on your hardware, specifically the USB port version (3.0 vs 2.0), the computer's chipset, and the quality of the flash drive itself. In my humble opinion, there are so many different configurations out there that it’s impossible to say what write speed you can expect to achieve. If I get more storage and faster write speeds then I’m happy.

This SSD usb stick has a very fast transfer rate.Average transfer of rate of 650 MB/s for movies. For MP3 music 550 MB/s.Feels solid.Impressive so I bought another.Formated to NTFS because that's what my TV's require.

I attach a few screenshots of the speeds I achieved with this USB SSD. Fastest was when connected to a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port. The two next fastest were when connected to a USB 4 port and a Thunderbolt 4 port on my Mac. The slowest was when connected to a USB 3.0 port.

Awesome product from Fanxiang. Works right out the box and excellent value and speeds. Works with iPhone 16 Pro too so now I have extra storage for all my photos and videos freeing up space on my phone.

Amazing USB - SSD stick. The write and read speed of this thing are ridiculous. Note: to use the full potention of this, you need a USB port labeled as 3.2 Gen 2 . If you don't have this port the speed goes to the baseline speed. Still. The speeds are ridiculous. I'm transfeing files of 50 gigs plus in a minute. Highly recomended. Been using it for a year or so, works perfect. And don't be scared just because the brand is Chinese, this is extremely high quality. Lately western brands are a mess. The last 2 months I have had around 5 usb sticks from Kinston and Scandisk die in a couple days after a few uses. It's pretty annoying.

Very Chunky but speedy

Review Of: Fanxiang 512GB Dual Ended USB / USB-C Memory StickThe first thing I noticed about this stick is how heavy it is. It’s much heavier than a normal USB stick.Whilst it’s ideal to have a double ended USB stick that gives you the flexibility to use it in any PC/Laptop, the fact is that this is a portable item and because of its design, if you pop it in your pocket or bag, then the exposed end is going to get fluff and dust in it. It doesn’t come with a cover or a pouch so this may be something you’ll just need to keep in a drawer at home.In terms of data transfer it seems to work just fine. Plug it in and a little window pops up on your screen showing it’s available and ready to use. I’ve used it with Dell and HP laptops. The capacity is huge, so if you have hundreds of photos, this stick will easily store all of them.

Extremely solidly built. Take it everywhere. Recommend.

OMG these are so nice. Back up is a snap and I keep them handy in case of fire. These will be the first thing I grab.
