Love the train your dragon books, easy to ready for my child and he loves the stories as to see familiar behaviors and how to get a good idea on how to handle scenarios in real life.

Purchased for my 1-1/2 year-old grandson who is just learning to forcefully say “no!” Certainly, it is above his reading level, but he understands what I am saying, most, if not all of the time, and I believe his understanding is enough to grasp what is happening with the very good illustrations. The rhyming cadence of the text is also very captivating. The next time his babysitting grandma has to tell him “no,” we can pull out this book (and the plush toy) and I am confident this will help him understand and remember why I had to say “no” this time. The plush dragon will be a great physical reminder to him of what he heard. I’m so impressed with this book that I went ahead and ordered the potty training book to go with the new potty he will be getting next week. So many kids’ books do not have this level of thoughtful, creative instruction, and I am really happy to have found this author. He knows what he’s doing and the illustrations are perfect.

My 6-year old and I love these "Dragon Books" with Drew and Diggory Doo. I love the easy to learn lessons in this book series. Since there are so many books and varying topics, it makes it easy to pick a book to tailor to your kid's needs. I highly recommend this series about Drew teaching his pet dragon, Diggory Doo, many valuable lessons! The illustrations are really cute, too!

Love the Teach Your Dragon books. Easy enough for the kids to read and learn from.

The book isn't perfect by social media mom standards (some suggestion about "being bad" which some may find icky) but overall, I love these books and recommend them to friends. They are easy to read, cute, rhyme, and my kids enjoy them. I don't mind reading them over and over either which is a plus, because some kids books are just terrible for repeat use. The ink smell is really strong for those who have sensory stuff. Hey- Mx. Author- if you have the power to make some series of these (totally rip off Mo Willems Biggie Books- haha) I would be interested in purchasing some. It would be easier to have some "collections" around the house instead of individual paperbacks scattered everywhere.

I like it so much and want some other ones!” Parent’s review: This is a nice book about dealing with accepting no. When I first read it a year ago, my daughter would run out of the room because she didn’t want to hear it (it’s a little heavy-handed, I suppose). Now she really likes it and is learning a lot! It has some questionable phrasing from a Gentle Parenting standpoint, but nothing that can’t be tweaked or talked about.

Der Beginn ist gut, aber das Ende ist enttäuschend, oberflächlig, man soll das Nein akzeptieren und einfach zu gehorchen (finde ich schlecht). Mir fehlen Sätze wie: "meine Stimme zählt auch" oder "Eltern und Kind im Team", oder "einander zuhören". Ich habe das jetzt mit Edding hinzugekritzelt. Wat soll's.

Love these books they supporting neurodivergent people

I purchased this book for the parents of my 3 year old granddaughter who at times does not accept no for an answer. Her father, who is a high school teacher, read the book to her and she understood that there are reasons why a parent has to say no sometimes. Her parents loved this book and asked that I order 8 more of the Train Your Dragon series. Some of these books will be saved to be used as she grows older.

È una collana di libri che affronta temi educativi come la collana della usborne. Ho preso questo libro perché in questo periodo mio figlio attraversa la fase del no e mi è piaciuta l'idea del drago, oltretutto in inglese così può imparare nuove parole. La struttura delle frasi è più complessa rispetto a quella della usborne, quindi per un bambino di 3 anni e mezzo che ha ancora poco dimestichezza con l'inglese non è facile. Le immagini sono carine ( dire belle è troppo ) talvolta confuse . I consigli che vengono dati al drago quando si arrabbia sono poco applicabili nelle realtà, soprattutto se è un bambino piccolo di 3, 4 o 5 anni. Di sicuro i consigli sono ottimi per i genitori che devono mantenere la calma e trovare soluzioni alternative per distogliere l'attenzione dei figli quando si fissano su qualcosa che desiderano e che non possono avere in un determinato momento. Il prezzo è troppo alto per quello che offre, di sicuro centra perfettamente alcune tematiche che i genitori si trovano ad affrontare durante l'evoluzione della crescita dei propri figli. Metto tre stelle e non 4 per il prezzo esagerato.
