I have a new conch, a daith, two forward helixes & one lobe piercing & I'm a side sleeper (and I’m crazy but I did them all at the same time so they could all heal at the same time). I didn’t want to go through multiple months of healing one piercing just to get another & do the same thing. A travel pillow was just hurting my neck. I tried two other “piercing pillows” and they were too flat (my ear would touch the pillow underneath) & the pillow opening for your ear was too small (my ear would touch the pillow) and it would hurt my ears. This pillow I swear by. The opening is larger so your ear fits in without it touching at all and it is more supportive. I bought the larger option & the hole for your ear is not directly in the middle, it’s a little offset so you can put your heard down like you would with a normal pillow & your ear with sit in the opening & your head doesn’t constantly feel like it’s going to roll off like with the smaller piercing pillows. I have already recommended this to two people with new cartilage piercings. I was pierced 1 1/2 months ago and I have no pain. I clean with saline twice a day & use this pillow religiously. The cost is a drop in a bucket compared to your sleep not being interrupted due to pain. I got the larger size & it does actually feel really cool to touch. I use a satin pillow case over it so I can wash that every week instead of actually having my face directly against the pillow & I still have room with the pillow case pushed down in the opening. It is 1,000% worth the money!!!

This is a pretty comfortable pillow if you have fresh piercings. I was worried that it wouldn’t be enough by itself for me to fall asleep but i was surprised. I was able to fall asleep with this as my only pillow. My ear fits pretty well in it. The only downside I’ve found is that sometimes my earring gets snagged on the thread. But it isn’t a huge deal and doesn’t cause pain.

I've tried a few ear piercing pillows and returned all of them except for this one. It's hard to find a pillow that will protect your piercings but also give you support like a normal pillow. I've been using this pillow for 5 months straight now and recommended it to my best friend. This one is the most comfortable ear piercing pillow I found (the additional piece that fills the hole is a nice to have though admittedly I've yet to use it), it's small enough that I take it traveling with me and compresses in a bag/suitcase and doesn't lose its shape. I appreciate that there's a narrow side and thicker side depending on how long your neck is. I use the narrower side but find that when I wake up the part under my neck has deflated and the support is gone, but I just turn it around and use the thicker side which has more support. I find that the memory foam is good quality, supportive enough and gives neck pain relief, good size for travel.

The design of this pillow was will thought out. The space for an ear is fabulous. It's big enough so there is no pressure on my new cartilage piercings. However-the pillow itself is as hard as a rock. I love memory foam pillows, but this is the hardest one I've ever had. If you need a soft pillow, keep looking.

I love this thing. I recently got a second ear piercing and had been putting it off for a long time because I didn’t want to give up sleeping on my side. My husband suggested something like this and it’s amazing- the cut out is big and deep enough that you can actually relax and not worry about snagging or moving in your sleep. It’s really helping me feel comfortable while my ears heal without having to change much in my routine. You will not regret buying it! (I’m also a pillow snob and usually need down filling and linen to be comfortable and I was perfectly fine with this) Stays cool too!

Due to recent hip surgery, I can only sleep on my right side, and my right ear has become very sore. I took a chance on this pillow and, wow, it’s made such a difference. I had my first great night’s sleep in a long time; the pillow is comfortable and my ear is protected. I didn’t notice any odor from the pillow, but I did remove the cover and washed it anyway. The zipper made it very easy to take it off and replace it. The pillow appears to be very well made. It’s not often something works out so perfectly, but I heartily endorse this seller and this pillow.

Update: I've been using this pillow for a year and a half, and I still love it. In my original review, I said the little insert plug was cute but not useful, but I was wrong. It's still cute, but it IS useful to press it into the hole every morning, to help stop the hole from collapsing (which then makes the hole smaller). The pillow has gotten a bit softer; I expect I'll need to replace it in another year or so. The original pillow cover is still in use, but it has yellowed slightly (yes I do wash it!), and it snags easily, which leaves tickly little pills and threads. I'll add photos of the great pillowcase my sister-in-law made to fit this pillow. She says it was a pain to make, but I'm grateful she did it. ------------------------------ Original review: I don't have delicate piercings, but for many years I've had sharp ear pain when sleeping on my ear. I am a committed side-sleeper, and I can't sleep on my back. Several months ago I bought a Pillow-With-A-Hole (the one from England). It was a step in the right direction, but unless it was fresh from the wash, the filling packed down and made it very hard. This USlixury pillow is made of memory foam, which cushions my head nicely after it has warmed up a little. The ear hole is huge, which is just what I needed. I do wish they sold a cotton pillow case, cut just the same as the cover it comes with. The textured pillow cover is nice, but can leave my face a little bit sweaty (and it's 63° in the room most of the night!). I would like to have a cotton pillow case to put over it. That would be much more useful than the insert "plug" with its own removable cover. The plug is cute but not useful to me.

As an overall product, this is probably the best earring healing pillow you’re gonna find on Amazon. Unlike the donuts, this is a legit pillow. The issue I ran into was the hole still felt a bit too big, so my head just didn’t quite get the support it needed to sleep well. BUT i am a horrible sleeper, so maybe it’s a very ME issue. And thing is, if you look at it it doesn’t seem like it is too big, so I think they’re in a tricky spot with the sizing. But I digress - I think it’s worth a try if you are healing your new piercing.

This works well to prevent me laying on my piercings, but don't wear clawsets, it catches on the fabric of the pillow. If your piercings are smooth you'll be fine

I have lots of ear piercings, some are healing. This pillow is perfect for allowing my to sleep on my side and not irritate my healing piercings. It is small but worms great. I was using a travel pillow before and did not enjoy that.

This product is really exactly what you see advertised, it serves its purpose. I bought it to help heal new piercings, and now I can lie on my left side without worrying about pain and disfiguring my piercings. It’s soft memory foam, expands after removing from the package (takes about 20 minutes), and is very comfortable.
