Got this purple temporary hair chalk for a ten-year-old blonde girl. She applied it herself and found it super easy. It did not get all over the bathroom like some dyes she has used. It colored her hair but did not saturate it. So it might not be great for people with darker hair. It didn't transfer to her clothes or other places in our house. It wasn't greasy or chalky looking. We really liked the look overall. She washed it out that night and it mostly came out. She isn't a great hair washer so I think a bit more effort would have removed it entirely. Really loved how low mess this was.

This product is really easy to use and it is not messy to use. The chalk gives you subtle color while the paint gives you a more bold color. It leaves your hair not sticky unlike some temporary hair colors do. It washes out very easy too just shampoo the color away. I have strawberry blonde hair and the color showed up pretty good. I do however think if you have darker hair it may not show through.

I was a little skeptical of this chalk as I have very dark hair and not many colors actually show on it. This pink goes on easy and shows up bright and vibrant on my black hair. I can't wait for Halloween to add some color to my hair to complete my outfit!

The chalk was easy to use. I brushed the chalk a few times through my hair and it is visible. The other brush applicator is wet and gets the color more vibrantly. These are also easy to wash off in the shower. However once you put them on, anything that touches your hair turns very red as the chalk spreads easily.

The Blue Temporary Hair Chalk Color Comb + Washable Hair Mascara Dye worked on black hair. IT obviously isn't as pronounced as in lighter hair, but I am impressed. The chalk comb gave a lighter tint and the mascara hair dye is more vibrant and pronounced. The dye can get on your hands while applying if you are doing multiple pass throughs, but it washes off easily with soap. Once dried the dye only rub off if I was pressing hard on my hair. I wanted to test how easily it rubbed off as to not damage my clothes. Would order again and get different colors. I think $10 is a good price.

The mascara type applicator was easy to use and the color is rich and vivid. I highly recommend this washable hair color! I used the mascara wand applicator to add green highlights to my light blond hair and it looked amazing! I didn't use a hair dryer to dry it, although the directions recommend that. I just let it air dry, and had no trouble with it. I was thinking that the following day I could brush through it for a more muted effect, but I had trouble doing that. I was quite liberal with the application. Fortunately, the product washed out easily with shampoo and water, and no extra effort. For the price, I can't say enough. It was a blast! Best of all, the color didn't transfer to my pillow case or clothing!

Unfortunately these did not work for me or my daughters. The colors are very weak and streaky and don't "saturate" the hair so they are not noticeable at all, even on my daughters lighter hair. The chalks are messy and smudge easily. The colors do wash out easily, I was able to just brush it out of my dark hair but my lighter haired daughter needed water to fully remove it. Do not recommend!
