It doesn't burn toast and it looks great!
This is an expensive toaster, but it does a nice job. My last toaster I cheaped out on and it was a terrible experience. This one is well made, has a heavy duty, grounded power cord, many settings, and looks great on your counter.At the highest toast setting, it will not burn your toast. If you want to get some char on your toast, you restart it and hit a button for a little more time, or just cancel on a second toasting.I have toasted bagels with the setting to only toast on the inner elements, which is a feature I missed not having on my last toaster. Frozen toaster strudel comes out nice and crispy with the frozen setting. I performs as it describes.The price is up there, but as long as this lasts I am fine with it. It doesn't feel like you are paying for the name more than the product.

The "Classy Cool Vintage" Looking Toaster
Our family enjoys our new toaster!The green color is beautiful and helps it look "vintage". It toasts everything we have toasted in it perfectly - especially thicker breads, English muffins, and bagels! The settings are great ... and it is easy to operate!In the past we put our toaster away in the cupboard - out of sight! ... but it is to "classy cool" looking to hide! So it sits out on the kitchen counter and looks wonderful! People notice it, look closer, and love it!I would definitely buy it again!

Kitchen Aid quality, design and performance!I love everything about it! It toasts bagels and breads of different thicknesses to perfection! Easy to clean. Pricier but worth the money. I love the green color, which looks classy on my kitchen counter! 5 stars from me!

Great Toaster, Fast and Easy to Use
We just got this 4-slice toaster and I’ve been impressed every time I’ve used it. It toasts quickly and evenly, and the settings are super easy to adjust. Whether it’s bagels or regular toast, everything comes out just right. Great addition to our kitchen!

This is a must buy!
This toaster can handle everything with perfection. It’s wide mouthed to toast your bread and bagels evenly. It has easy to pull out trays to clean, you can wrap the cord underneath the toaster for easy storage. It’s a beautiful toaster. Absolutely love it.

Grandmas Toaster
It is great as kitchen aid goes - all their products are decent. Just way overpriced to have Red cover on it . Works just the same as the other toasters - great. But now red !

Large heavy duty quality made 4 slice toaster
Looks and feels very nice. Lots of toasting options that all work as expected. Makes really good toast and looks good on the counter. Would buy again

Jury still out if worth the price.
My old KitchenAid toaster finally bit the dust so I went with this model. Color is beautiful and is solid. I wish they would just use titles instead of "pictures" to describe different options. I find that you have to set it almost to the top to get a darker toasting. Just a matter of getting use to the new toaster. Is it worth the $$$, jury is still out on that.Update: Feb 13 - After a little more use I still think not as good as old KitchenAid. Even on "darkest" setting it's not that toasted.March 12 - Contacted KitchenAid customer service and exchanged toasters. New one works great - toasts correctly -
