We were wowed by the light quality. The colors are very vibrant. You can choose from a variety of colors and settings. The length was perfect for a 7 foot tree. They were easy to use and set up. I got these on some kind of sale so they were a good value for the money. I wouldn’t usually spend much money on Christmas tree lights but these changed my mind. They were so much nicer than I expected. I liked that the set came with a reel to wind them back around when we stored them. I added photos from daytime and night.

I gotta say, I'm a Govee convert - we now have a light curtain, some outdoor accent lights, and this little miracle - the app is incredibly intuititve and controls each with no interference / issues. The lights are truly remarkable - customizable, brilliant bursts of light - the color pallette is incredible. There is really nothing not to love. We've had our tree doing candy cane swirls, christmas wreath, white and gold, red and green dancing to holiday music, and this is only about 2% of the presets - did I also mention you can truly and fully customize?? I didn't do the math (because that would be INSANE), but my guess is, with 300 LED's, and different levels of brightness and color palette at your disposal, there must be well over hundreds of MILLIONS of custimizations - not that you really will ever need them with how intuitive the control is from the app as well as the built-ins. But go ahead and create as well - you can store your user presets on the app.I am truly amazed by this brand - and I was certainly a little suspect at first (being a Phillips Hue household - I figured nothing would beat their line-up). But Govee has far surpassed Hue in the limited market of offerings, and are the top choice now in my household for all our "FUN" lighting needs (and that's pretty much every room of the house and outdoors as well...we like colors, and lots of them here).

The media could not be loaded. I have been eyeballing light you can change and control for a while but was reluctant to spend money, but I have to say I’m sad I didn’t buy them sooner! Out tree is a little under 8ft and I was worried that I didn’t get a long enough strand, but I had to keep adjusting just to get it to fit ant the top so that wasn’t an issue.It was super easy to connect to the app, map your tree, and start modifying. The variety of options is spectacular! You can choose from the many premade settings, make your own DIY design, or find one someone in the community made. Adjusting the brightness is easy and so is working the timer function.I added my favorite setting to the timer, but changed it every once in a while for fun, theme, or mood and the timer settings reset the next day. Unless you go in and update, I did for New Years.If you have multiple Govee strands, it’s easy to and switch between them. These are easy to use, beautiful, and quality made lights that will last for years! Not only does it do its job well but it far surpasses. I don’t want to take my tree down now and I didn’t even think my tree needed any ornaments it was so lovely.

These are the best Christmas trees lights ever. I bought a 9' Christmas tree from King of Christmas and was a little concerned that I didn't purchase the pre-lit version. I purchased these lights because I have the TV backlight and I have experience with their app so I had some idea of how they should work. They come in various lengths and I bought the 99' version. I wasn't sure that was enough so I did some research and bought another 99' strand. These lights DO NOT physically connect. I knew this but again, I purchased lights from govee before so I had an idea of how they should work, and work they did. With the app you are able to group the sets together. I have no idea how exactly it knows where the bottom of the tree and the top of the tree is, where the one set begins and the other one ends, but it does, and it does it well. They are extremely easy string up because the LEDs are inline, they are easy to put away because they roll up neatly in the spool. With the app you can individually color each light, use preset scenes, have the lights dance with music, the options are almost limitless. I don't write too many reviews on Amazon, but I'm so impressed with them that I'm going to add another 99' strand for next year. Quality product, phenomenal price when on sale (actually would pay full price and wouldn't feel as if I paid too much the product is that good) you can mix and match strand sizes and they coordinate seamlessly. This is one of the best things I've ever purchased. I believe I will enjoy these for years to come.

I usually prefer built-in lights on artificial trees, but when the lights on our current tree died, I decided to give the Govee Christmas Lights 2 a try—and I couldn’t be more pleased!These lights are incredible. The ability to create customized animations and share scenes through the app adds such a fun and personal touch to our holiday decor. The colors are vibrant, the effects are smooth, and the app is easy to use.We did run into a small issue with the automation feature, but Govee’s customer service truly went above and beyond. They replaced the set free of charge, making the entire experience stress-free.I highly recommend these lights and honestly, any Govee product. The quality and customer support are top-notch!
