Quality first responder boots.
The E.M.T./Paramedicine practitioners ( We have two.) in our household love these. They are light, and easy to get into at 3 a.m. They get about a year out of a pair in stations that see ~12 to 20 calls in a 24 hour shift. Notably these have survived hikes to persons experiencing emergencies in a nearby wildlife refuge. Including those that just have to pet the fluffy buffalo, a.k.a. American Bison and go hiking at 100°F following bypass surgery etc. 511 makes some quality gear and these fall under that heading. With good coolmax cushion or wool socks and the proper foot powder they can be worn from freezing to dessert service. We do have a boot dryer and make sure they get dried out properly from sweat or rain. Typically they have lasted until the soles wear thin and begin to come loose from the upper. Anything heavier duty would be well, heavier. In a less active station or volunteer service I'm sure you'd get two or three years out of them easily.

Comfortable on first wear
Boots are lightweight, good quality, and the zipper makes on/off super fast. True fit, very comfortable, and good value.

Great all around boot
Good quality boot. The loop at the top makes getting your foot in easier. They hold up well. Your feet will be fairly dry walking in the rain but if you step in a puddle they’ll be wet. I buy these every year.

7th pair.
Absolutely love these boots. Price is on point for the quality and life expectancy. I usually get 1-2 years out of a pair. I always get a 9.5 wide but this time, I think I got 9.5 standard width. They are tighter than normal and there is no W or EW stamp on the tongue. My last pair were the tan suede type and they ripped at the arch in the middle of the material. These have zero break in for me. Slightly stiff due to being new but never any slipping or blisters. Once I have them adjusted to my feet, I double tie them and never have to worry about them loosening up. They are extremely light weight which is good when climbing stairs or having to run in them. Great traction and amazing comfort with affordable pricing and awesome durability.

Good boots for police/security/military
I work as an Officer, and they’re comfortable for all day use. Good grip and they’re practical.

Good boot! Unfortunately though....
Really wish I could give all 5. Loved these boots, from the ease of getting them on and off, to the light weight and support of these boot. Only issue is I bought them in May and they are already starting to come apart at the soles. Good for light duty work or hiking not for heavy construction.

Came off someone's feet. Not new.
I returned these. Item said new and showed up looking broke in. Came unzipped with dirt on the bottom. There was no polished shine on the toe. Pictures are right out of the box.
