Bicycle Research Crank Arm Thread Chaser, TC-8

If you have a crank that some other knucklehead has tried to remove, this might not work. It is tempered steel, so it is stronger than aluminum and will re-thread, but the very small threads on an old crank are difficult to chase.

There was a small mix up in shipping tho they took care of it before I ever new about it all turned out well verry prompt nice product the guid is for a sqare taper only or tru axle , but with alittle comon sence i used the cleaner part to repair threads in a crank for a octalink braket worked nice riped new treads werry well ! fast shipping no problems! thanks !

I messed up and used an octalink puller on a square taper crank. Stripped the threads right off the crank arm. This tool allowed me to salvage that crank arm. Worked perfectly.
