I bought this for my cat during a stressful time, and I was happy with the results. After using it for a few evenings, she seemed much calmer, settled down more easily, and slept through the night without pacing around the house. The dropper makes it easy to give, and my cat didn’t seem to mind taking it. I also like that it’s a liquid because it’s much easier than giving tablets. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product. It helped my cat relax, and I would definitely buy it again if she needs extra support during stressful situations.

I decided to try this supplement for my cat because he can get very restless at times, especially in the evening. It’s convenient to administer—the bottle is small and comes with a dropper, making it easy to measure the right amount. UPDATE: We ordered a second bottle of this. Same exact seller, brand, etc, but it was completely different than the first bottle. The dropper, liquid color, smell, and ingredient list was different than the first time. I gave my cat one dose and she began foaming at the mouth and crying. She guzzled water. It was really scary. I will be returning this and not buying another one! Obviously the product source was not the same as the first bottle I ordered and the second one was really wrong on every level. First bottle review below: I have an elderly cat that started yowling all night since our other cat passed away. It's been 6 months and our lack of sleep is driving my entire family insane. I decided to give this a try. My cat is really fussy and won't even eat cat treats but she instantly liked this and we now have to hide the box because she begs for it, hunts it down, knocks the box over, etc trying to get more. Crazy cat begs for her nighty-night drugs now. LOL Half a dropper is the appropriate dose (not sure how ANY cat would be heavy enough for a full dose by the weight listed) and I think it helps her to sleep a little longer than she has been. Now...if we can just get her to stop waking us at 3:00 a.m......it's better than 1 a.m. but not by much. Cat likes it anyway. We'll keep using.

4 stars because it works well and got my card sleep schedule back on track. BUT Kinda confused on the taste. So the first time my cat hated the taste. Then I bought it a year later and it said it was a newer version and he loved it. Literally would lick it out of dropped. I just bought it again and he hates it. Both times he hated it the color was darker. When he liked it, it has a lighter color. Is this normal? Are there diff flavors and its luck of the draw?

I purchased this Cat Melatonin to help my cat relax at night, and overall I've been very pleased with it. The product arrived in excellent condition. It comes in a small box and everything was securely sealed with no leaks or damage during shipping. The bottle is compact enough to carry while traveling or transporting a pet, and I've had no concerns about spillage when taking it with me on trips The instructions are straightforward and recommend using half a dropper, which made dosing simple. The liquid has very little to no noticeable odor and appears as small oil droplets when added to water. My cat accepted it without much fuss and did not experience any negative reactions after taking it. He does not seem to mind the taste. In terms of effectiveness, I noticed a clear improvement in my cat's ability to settle down and sleep. He normally becomes anxious and restless at night due to noises outside, especially owls and coyotes calling nearby and other nighttime sounds that tend to keep him alert. After using this melatonin supplement, he was noticeably calmer and was able to sleep through all the noise. For about $14, I think this product offers good value for the money. Based on my experience, I would purchase it again.

I wanted to try this because my cat freaks out so badly when he goes to the vet that he needs sedation, and yet he refused to eat food with the sedative in it after the first time I sedated him, so he remembers the chemical taste and will starve himself to avoid the chemical sedative now. I noticed that this product has valerian in it, which is a popular human sleep aid (more of a muscle relaxer) and is also safe and calming for cats. After I received this product, I noticed that the actual dosage of melatonin in mg is nowhere on the bottle or box, just the ml they recommend with no indication of how many mgs of melatonin a ml would contain. Because the recommendation most common for my cat’s weight is between 3-6 mg, I’m concerned that it might be too weak to have an effect, like many products on the market meant to “calm” cats but not by much. After giving him a half dropper because of the instructions on the bottle, I noticed that the company’s ad on Amazon recommended one fourth (half of the amount stated on the bottle) for my cat’s size. I hope that I didn’t give him too much, but with the mg not mentioned on the bottle, it’s impossible to tell. I hoped that the valerian would make a difference in combination with the melatonin though. I waited a half hour after the cat ate the food and checked on him. He seemed more irate than usual, as though he knew something was up and didn’t like it, but he was also fighting to keep his eyes open. An hour after he ate it, he was sitting there looking angry at me, wide awake. Ninety minutes later, cat was awake and still angry. An hour after that, he was wide awake and looked like his feelings were hurt. A half hour after that, which was 3 hours after he ate the food with the half dropper mixed in, he was still awake and looked a little irritated with me, but not as angry as before. I gave up checking on him at that point. It’d be nice to know the number of mg of melatonin per dropper, so that I know whether this was due to the dose being too low. There really wasn’t much of a difference other than a half hour after he ate it, when he had trouble staying awake, but he was able to successfully fight sleep, probably because he sensed I was up to something. Maybe this is OK for people whose cat doesn’t need much to calm down, but my cat really, really hates getting in his carrier to go to the vet, and I think this product was a little weak for that purpose.

I’m very happy with this melatonin for my cat. My cat was feeling anxious and had trouble settling down at night, and these drops really helped. They are easy to give, and within a short time I noticed my cat was much calmer and able to relax. There were no side effects, and my cat accepted the drops without any problems. The bottle is convenient, and a little goes a long way. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for gentle support for their cat’s sleep or stress.

Not palatable, our cat refused to eat his favourite food when we mixed a small amount of it. Eventually, we had to give him directly into his mouth. We used it for 5 days but then stooped as it had no effect on him.

I have a kitten that’s very very sad when I put her to bed in the room cause I put them they have their own room my cats I use the melatonin and it’s perfect. She sleeps good all night. My cats are actually active during the day and they sleep at night.

I rescued two cats about three months ago. One of them does not stop singing 24 hours a day. I have not been able to get a normal sleep ever since I got them. I ordered the melatonin product for cats and have been using it for four days. My beautiful cats now sleep completely through the night without a sound and do not jump on me until my alarm goes off in the morning. It is a total lifesaver. He seems way less stressed and is calmer during the day as well. I only give it to them at night and I think it is an amazing product. I love that it’s melatonin and valerian root as those are natural products so I don’t feel guilty giving it to them. I 100% recommend this product.

Doesn't work.

I recently purchased this for my cat who was having grief and stress after our other cat passed away. He had become extremely needy and was excessively grooming himself. After three days of giving him a dose in his wet food for dinner, he has completely changed. He is more calm and sleeps through the entire night and finally has started giving us some space. I highly recommend this product - even for grief and loss.
