Great formula. Taste is slightly different to the older stuff but still very tasty. Mixes well and doesn't leave any funny after taste. Definitely notice the next day when I haven't had it.

I have been using SIS's REGO specifically the Chocolate version for about 3 years now for my post run and gym sessions. I loved it mixed well with just cold water, the taste and the results on dispelling any lactic acid build up and aiding my recovery for the next day. Since the change in recipe, I find it doesn't mix well and the taste is awful, so much so this will be my last purchase. Its a pity they changed to a Vegan recipe when only 5.8% of the population is Vegan, I'm all for choice so give me the original none vegan choice back and I may return. If anyone else finds a decent replacement let me know.

Have used this for years with good results. They have changed the formula a bit and the taste is a bit different but still effective and palatable after a hard session.

I've been using REGO for years after medium-distance runs, to replace calories and avoid feeling like a zombie, and it's worked well. I actually quite liked the old chocolate flavour (which was, contrary to other reviews, also vegan! they just advertised it less conspicuously), but the new chocolate flavour is a bit nastier. I recommend the vanilla flavour though! And the new formulation mixes a lot better, no more lumps of powder in the bottom/lid of my mixing bottle.

Tastes like Aluminium... However, if you mix 1.5 scoops of this with 1.5 scoops of unflavoured whey protein, it tastes almost identical to the old formula.

Amazing product. Over the last 8 years I being using this product. I do race and I find the best for my recovery. Even after 5consecutive day race at very demanding hills this rapid recovery always make me be ready for the next day. I also noticed that since the packaging has being changed and also the formula I can tell is even better than before.

I am absolutely distraught by what Rego have done here. I do ultra marathons, and tried Rego recovery back in 2018 as with it being plant based it was ok to chuck in a suitcase and take abroad without having to worry about border rules. Used to taste amazing.Used solidly for 8 years. EVERY WEEK ! Then Bought a refill last year and I sent it back to Amazon thinking it was a faulty batch now realised they changed the recipe. It’s rancid. Why did you mess with something that was so good? You utter fools.
