The Brazil nuts are good and taste just like Brazil nuts do. Four stars instead of five because they do not have an ultra fresh taste. They are not stale by any means. Just not ultra-fresh. Since they are the least expensive I could find, I am grateful.

I love Brazil Nuts, fresh from the shell is a tasty snack. The bag came with a recipe to roast them if that is something you like to do. The expiration date shows their freshness. I do wrap one in a paper towel before trying to crack it open which helps keep the pieces from flying all over the room. They are very delicious.

Moldy
Ordered several bags and all four bags when opened smelled strongly of mold. They are nowhere near the expiration date. Unfortunately, we didn't open them until the return date had passed and I'm not even sure we can get a refund. Very upsetting.
