Made the cake tonight. Easy to put together and baked up very nicely. The cake was very light and fluffy and was baked in a 9x13 glass pan. The taste was very good.

Brand did the doctoring suggestions (eg extra egg, milk not water that are popular) for young including that in their instructions - smart. I did add extra vanilla per suggestions. Baked perfectly.

I LOVE Dolly!
I LOVE Dolly Parton! This cake mix.. not so much. It's not the best yellow cake I've ever had. It baked beautifully, but is lacking in flavor. Not much flavor at all. The texture is a bit more like a pound cake, than a traditional yellow cake. It's dense, but without the sweetness of a pound cake.
