DF64 Gen 2 Single Dose Electric Coffee Grinder - Black

It’s great! I did a thorough search before buying a good grinder, and this one kept coming up in the forums. I decided to give it a go from this Amazon seller. It arrived well wrapped. I noticed a very minor tear on the DF64 box, but that was fine as the DF64 Gen 2 inside was brand new and spotless. Regarding functionality, this is an excellent machine—it does its job perfectly. It’s grinding very fast and, in my opinion, not very noisy. For those who know this machine, it truly stands out for extracting the clean, distinct notes from coffee beans—I noticed this immediately when I tasted the coffee. I haven’t had any issues with my machine, and I hope it never fails.

Have been very satisfied with the DF64 coming from a Bodum conical. It's incredible how much differences a more evenly sized grind distribution can make to the cup. Despite the supposed exit chute ioniser, it still makes a mess and will need a regular poking with the brush and wiping down (microfiber recommended!) Zero point adjustment ring feels cheap and annoying when you want to inspect/clear the burrs. Loud if you want to slow-start / drip-feed beans but once the wooden baffle cover is in place grinding noise is reduced. Excellent grinder that gave me a new appreciation for brewing good coffee.

Haven’t used enough to leave a proper review yet, but just wanted to leave a comment that will hopefully answer someone else’s question; the same one I had before buying. If you are wanted to buy but use a Sage machine or any machine with a 54mm portafilter or you have a 54mm dosing cup, it comes with a rubber adapter that slips into the 58mm holder and works perfectly. Kudos to the team for thinking of this.

Broke after using for a week 2 coffee a day… Really bad burr size control

Huge step up from the SmartGrind Pro I had before, really levels up my coffee! The simplicity of a dial adjustment and an on/off switch reduces it to the bare basics which work brilliantly

This is an excellent product. It can grind 18g of coffee beans on medium coarse in a few seconds. The grind size is controlled by a very large ring which is very easily moved. Calibrating the ring to its zero point is incredibly easy. The bellows (which also acts as a hopper) can hold enough beans for 4 cups of coffee comfortably and a few compressions gets out any remaining grind quickly.

After spending ages trying to dial my coffee machine onboard grinder in, I got this one. I have only had it a few days, dialled in, consistent brews. It feels rock solid, is quiet, looks great and purposeful. I love it, 100% would recommend.

Grinder arrived today and was great. Took a few shots to dial in the grind for espresso. After that I got great results.
