What is there to say? This is Godinger quality and luxury. The glass is thick and has a good weight to it. It won’t spill over on your bedside or wherever you place it. The material of the glass is beautiful and sparkles in the light. It’s easy to rinse off and clean. I didn’t expect that with all the cut engravings. It has a beautiful look to it thanks to the artistry of the material used. I needed something smaller for my bathroom, so this works very well. I purchased the Godinger Shannon for my bedside tables. The cup is small, while the Shannon holds double the amount so just keep that in mind when you’re ordering. The quality of the glass and Godinger, in general, is something you can’t ever go wrong with… if you’re considering it, go for it.

It's convenient for on the nightstand it keeps water crisp and it looks very nice. It's easy to clean, I put it in the dishwasher. It's quality and detail is a solid!

That it is a respected crystal and so useful. Nice touch for a guest room. Gets you away from plastic too.

Without being crystal it’s a classic design and quality for such a reasonable price.

Now, when I get thirsty at night, I don't have to get up. I pick up the carafe, pour myself a water drink, and fall asleep. Having the glass reversed on top saves space and protects the water from dust and insects. The carafe and glass look gorgeous!More to the point, if I had finished the water glass I took to bed with me, I'd have woken fully from the movement of getting up, walking to the kitchen, turning on a light, and filling the glass. With an extra 16 oz. handy, the movements are small, there's no extra light, and I can fall right back asleep.

Love this item, have been wanting one forever to put by my bed. It holds just enough water to take my pills at night and the next day. The container itself is very pretty!
