Cotswold Health Products Dandelion Leaf Tea -100g, Pack of 1

Some people are saying on social media that Dandelion tea cures the Corona virus. Who knows? The problem, however, is that it has led to empty shelves in health shops here in the UK. So I turned to Amazon to order my tea (first time I have ordered a bio product online). I have been drinking Dandelion tea for 10 years and I am great fan of the taste and the health benefits. I am very happy with my choice of product. It arrived very quickly and it is good quality. The leaves are small and it has a nice earthy taste. The supplier's website is full of good information about how they source and prepare their tea. I noted that a few commentators who were trying Dandelion tea for the first time were reviewing the taste rather than the product. It is a very unique and acquired taste that some may find too bitter or earthy. My suggestion if you are a first time consumer is to do your research and probably just buy one packet to see if you like the taste.The only thing I would say is that I was unsure which product to go with. It was a competition between this product Cotswold Health Dandelion Leaf Tea -100g and Dandelion Loose Tea 100g - Herbal Tea - Chilli Wizards No Box (link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dandelion-Loose-Tea-100g-Wizards/dp/B07FXKV3PS/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=dandelion+tea&qid=1586596900&sr=8-11) The no box product was 25% cheaper (3 pound versus the 4 pound for the Cotswold tea). The thing that swayed it for me was that the Cotswold tea had great reviews. When the product finally turned up, it had no box. When I looked into it, I realised that Chilli Wizards produce both products. So I imagine that it is the same product and you are paying 25% extra for the nice box. I will definitely order more of this tea, but next time I will order the no box cheaper product because it is the same product. In summary I would say that this is a great quality tea from a well organised and good supplier but go with their no box option to save on the pennies. Happy drinking!

I have never bought dandelion tea before but because of its health benefits, which include diuretic effects, lower blood pressure, lowered blood sugar levels, detoxification, many more, I decided to try it. It's an excellent source of electrolytes, which is the main reason I bought it.It was delivered quickly and comes well-packaged. It has a "green" flavour if you know what I mean, quite similar to green tea, very fresh and soothing (in my opinion). It's even drinkable when it cools down. The quality seems great and it's quite a big bag (inside a box). I would recommend this to anyone to give it a try.

Nice delicate flavour without caffeine.Provides a nice pickme up as an afternoon drink.One downside is too much 'dust' , if there were larger tea leaves and the dust/small particles removed it would get a 5 star from me

Good money value

Such a gentle tea. I didn't know what to expect and though it was a bit overpriced, but it last forever. I often mix it with nettles liquorice in a pot and drink it through the day. Highly recommended brand.

Using extremely sparingly it made me unwell for 24 hours after drinking

The tea tastes great.

Due to a hypothyroidism I was feeling tired, bloated, slow metabolism, dry skin, water retention and generally not feeling 100%. I have had just two cups of this tea for the last 4 days with half a teaspoon of agave. The result is I now have more energy, the bloating has gone, the water retention has gone, my skin is very smooth, my hair is shinier and I feel much better. I have recommended this to others with similar health problems and also to my mum who has gall bladder issues as this tea is supposed to be of benefit to the liver and gallbladder also.I had recently purchased an infusing teapot so decided to give this tea a try after hearing of its many benefits but I admit I was sceptical. However for me it has been a miracle cure for the symptoms I had relating to my thyroid and arthritis. Its initial flavour is not too unlike normal tea without milk, but without some sort of sweetener such as honey or agave, it does have a bitter after taste.The 'dose' is one to two teaspoons steeped in water three times a day. I would say at that recommendation this box would last a good few weeks, certainly enough time to decide if it is working enough to warrant getting another box. For the price of a glossy magazine though I would say it is definitely worth a try.
