The cable appears to be well-built. The connectors fit snugly into their respective ports, and the short strain reliefs seem to be bonded to the cable for added strength. The cable itself is plain, without any braiding, and its flexibility is what I’d consider average. In fact, there’s nothing particularly exciting about this charger cable—it’s similar to many other bland-looking variants. Regarding its ability to pass 6 amps of current, aside from the engraving on the USB-A connector shell that indicates this, there’s nothing else to verify the claim.Upon re-reading the description, it seems this cable is specifically designed for a particular list of devices, as there’s no mention of general compatibility with other USB-C compliant devices. If this is the case, I’m not sure how you’d be expected to identify this cable from a regular one if it’s thrown into a cupboard full of other similar-looking cables.I wasn’t able to check for any e-markers in the cable, though I believe this may be reserved for USB-C to USB-C cables only.All in all, it looks like just a standard USB-A to USB-C cable (even if it might not be). The orange colour inside the connector shells adds a bit of flair, but beyond that, there’s not much else to say—other than it worked when I tried it on a few devices.
