Awesome watch. Great price.
This Apple Watch is great. Love how it looks on my wrist and it connects to the phone effortlessly. The charging speed is great. The size is perfect if you have somewhat small fingers. It functions better than other smart watches I’ve had. It’s fast and easy to use. Siri works if you just bring the watch up to your face and start talking which is great for hands free use. It tells time like no other watch. The price is perfect for someone who can’t afford an expensive watch.

A competent and easy to use exercise tracker but it requires iPhone
After using a $30 knock-off for a few months, which looks like an Apple watch but lacks many features, I decided I needed a better fitness tracker.I use an Android phone (long term plan is to switch to iPhone, but right now this is what I'm stuck with) and this is no good for setting up an Apple Watch, so I got a $100 refurbished iPhone that barely holds a charge but is good enough.Once it was all set up, the watch works great and doesn't really require a phone, but the phone does come in handy for doing setup stuff on a larger screen, and also for recording daily workouts in the Fitness app. When I come back from working out, the watch synchs up with the phone, and my sessions are accurately recorded, going back months. Convenient. As for fitness, I use it for cardio (running, elliptical, swimming) and core/strengthening (weight lifting etc.). The watch is a competent tracker and is quite impressive in the lap pool; it not only can track your vital signs underwater but knows how many laps you have swum (you need to tell it the size of the lap pool in advance). Some of the machines at my gym are set up to pair with an Apple Watch; just hold it near an NFC or similar spot on the machine, and the watch instantly knows what kind of machine it is (elliptical, bike, treadmill), knows when you start and stop, and transmits heart rate and estimated calories to the machine's display.About heart rate and calorie tracking: I also have a Polar heart rate tracker, the kind with a chest strap, which is supposed to be pretty accurate for estimating calorie usage, a metric that is important to me. The watch tracks pretty closely to the Polar, so I have quit using the Polar completely. The display is normally off and the watch relies on gestures to see what time it is. A quick flip of the wrist usually turns it on, or else tap the screen. This is the one thing I don't love; the more expensive Apple Watches have an always-on display which is obviously a little more convenient, but for this rock bottom price, I can live without it for a while. The main issue for me is that the battery holds out for about one day (12-16 hours) and then must be put in its charging cradle. Luckily, it doesn't take too long to charge; about 2 hours is sufficient. It would be nice, however, if it lasted a week or so, for example if you take it into the wilderness for a weekend hiking trip.Speaking of charging, I would recommend buying a second charging cradle; they're very cheap and then you can put one in your office, another one by the bed, etc. It's handy to have one in your travel bag with your other charging paraphernalia, if you're a frequent traveler.Overall, I do not regret this purchase, and I use it every day. It's superior to several other types of electronic trackers and watches I have owned – an Android watch, Fitbit, Chinese knockoffs... this watch stands alone in the quality of its sensors and smooth software.

This watch is amazing!
Came in perfect condition and works very well . The battery life is actually very good lastme all day. Fits nice and doesn’t hurt my arm. Looks very clean and fashionable. I wear mine in the shower and get it wet all day because of my job the durability is amazing!!

Seems ok, works well, looks good.
This is ok. I bought it to keep track of heart rate, blood pressure, and sleep. However, I have to download another app to track blood pressure and that is a monthly charge. Other features require downloading apps with monthly charges as well, so I am disappointed with this watch. I do like that I can buy other bands and watch frames to change the look of the watch from plain/functional to quite dressy. The watch appears to be quality. I like that I can change the face of the watch. I chose Mickey Mouse. He tells me good morning, and his big, white-gloved hands point out the time while he taps his foot. There is a variety of other faces to choose from. At night the display is giant numbers so sleepy eyes in the dark can see the time. It charges up fast. It was very easy to pair with my iPhone. I can use the timer for when I am on my stationary bike or doing other activities like walking. There are apps included for walking, biking, etc.

Great entry-level Apple Watch, but consider your needs
I made the switch from Android to iOS a few months ago, and since I had a Samsung Galaxy Watch while using Android, it made sense to get an Apple Watch after the switch. I’ve now been using the 40mm version of the Apple Watch SE for about a month and have had time to gather my thoughts.First off, the packaging and unboxing experience was fantastic. It was clean and aesthetically pleasing like all Apple products (for those who care about that kind of thing). I did try using the included Sport Loop at first, but eventually swapped it out for an off-brand Alpine Loop band, which I now use daily and prefer for comfort and ease-of-use.As for the watch itself, it does everything I hoped it would. Sleep tracking feels more accurate than what I got with my Samsung watch, though I do miss having automatic workout detection. That said, I don’t mind opening the Workout app manually before getting active. In terms of battery life, it can get you through a full day of activity, but I’ve found that it definitely needs to be charged at least once a day. That’s something I expected though, especially from a more affordable Apple Watch model.Where I think the SE falls short is in its software limitations. Some features like a music speaker, water depth and temperature sensor, and sleep apnea notifications are only available on the higher-end models. These aren’t necessarily deal breakers, but they’re things I feel I could’ve benefited from, especially having used a smartwatch before.I picked this watch up at a pretty good discount, so I’m not definitely not complaining there. But in hindsight, I probably should’ve considered spending a little more on a Series 8 or 10. On top of the added features, I also sometimes feel that a slightly larger size than the 40mm (without going all the way to 44mm) might’ve suited me better. It’s a minor thing, but it adds to my feeling that one of the more premium models might’ve been the better fit.Nonetheless, I’d absolutely recommend the SE to anyone just getting into smartwatches or looking for their first Apple Watch. For the price, you’re getting all the core features you need just with a few trade-offs.
