Tough little socks. I wasn't one to buy socks because the toenails puts holes all through them. However, I thought I'd try these to put on my Shih tzu to keep his feet warm with Paws on top to go on walks/runs in the snow. The winter season is over, and the socks are still good, no holes or rips. I'll be purchasing more of these next winter, the pair I bought held and can be used again next winter.

I really like it! Ruffwear Hi & Light is one of the very few shoes my corgi will wear without complaining and the only one that actually stays on the unique corgi feet despite his special way of walking. My corgi gets frostbites now that we live in a colder place, and I needed an extra layer to keep his feet warm. These give that warmth but not too thick that his shoes won't fit. The socks are also well made unlike the cheap ones I had before--his toe nails won't get caught when I put them on. Overall, I like it so far!

Stays on well, good material that works well under the booties. Our dog cut his paw pad and had to get stitches and these helped out a lot during the weeks of recovery.

Ruffwear is an Oregon company that I use for all my Dogs needs. These definitely helped keep her feet inside her boots on a tuff hike.

Pretty good, but they don't feel as soft as they look in the picture.

I had a hard time getting the ruffwear booties onto my dog before these socks. I measured his paws correctly and bought 3 sizes to try and even the boots that I knew were too big for him were difficult to get on and he didn't like wearing them (he has other booties that he wears just fine so it was definitely the fit of these). After buying the socks, the correct size boots go on in seconds and he has no issue walking and running around in them. I will say make sure you put these socks and boots on while the dog is standing up so you can use gravity. Trying to get them on while he was laying down took twice as long. My dog's paws measure 1.8" in the back and 2.5" in the front so I got the 2.00/2.25 size sock and they all fit fine. Took my dog on a run and they didn't seem to bunch up that much in the boot.

I sized my Standard Poodle correctly, but the socks were WAY too small. I then ordered the next size up…Oh, MY, goodness…still small and SO awful to try and get on. I love Ruffwear products, have bought them for years, but these are ridiculous. I have used them enough, trying various ways to get them on, that I can’t return them. I would NOT recommend these unless your dog is small enough that you can just keep returning until you get a size that fits.

I bought these to go with the Ruff Wear shoes for my Belgian Malinois. He has a few claw that will always pop out of the shoe and then shoe will fall off. These socks help hold that few claw in. Very happy I bought them.
